PH problem!!!

I have had ph problems for the last week or two. I just fixed it. My ph is now 5.5-5.7. My ppm is 950. I am on my 3rd week of flowering. I use Tiger Bloom Big Bloom and Liquid Karma. I need a little help from you pros. Oh yea the strain is Skunk Special from the doc and female seeds.nl. My temps are about 80-to 84. I need advise what should I do so I can save my massive girl. She is under a 400 watt hps and i put 50 watts of floro's for the under growth. Also how can I promote more tricome growth?

you don't say what medium you're in. i'm assuming you're in some kind of hydro. i'd go a bit higher with the ph, 5.8 minimum. if you're in dirt you're way off.

Hydroponics bubble bucket setup. I will raise to 5.8

get her healthy

toadnuts, the PH issues have locked out potassium, nitrogen & magnesium...and it seems to be crying for magnesium

shoot them a bit of epsom salts for the magnesium (MGS04)

I nute starve my plants for a few days when I'm adjusting water pH. It seems to help them recover faster. Also helps adjusting it gradually but you probably did that .

Just a question out of curiosity, would plants be less likely to experience a ph problem in soil if you start with organic soil and are ph problems more common in hydro where balances might be a little more "tricky" to maintain?

Are there common "tell tale" symptoms of ph?

things can go wrong faster in hydro

the soils are generally Ph neutral when you buy them, if your making your own organic soils the PH may need correcting from manuers etc

I always use 1 tablespoon of dolomite lime per gallon of soil as a PH buffer

wild leaf twisting, or most common, spotting, followed by rapid yellowing are the most common symptoms to look for
