Spider Mite Bag Seed Harvest

Getting pretty close to harvest (a week or two to go)... been battling spider mites since beggining flowering. Just wondering if everythings gonna be alright when i chop? Does anyone know what effect the mites have on dry plants?

Im almost hoping some of them live just so i can torch em in my bong and drown the survivors of that. Its been pretty bittersweet checking the trichs lately.


Also since this is my first post i just wanna say thanks for the help. All your experience is invaluable to a first time grower such as myself. If the board ever organizes a virtual smoke out itd be an honor to pack the first bowl.(i'll try to pick the mites out first)

you can use neem oil up to a week before harvest,

2 teaspoons of neem oil to one qt of water and 3 drops of dish soap spray undersides of leaves in particular, they will be pretty much gone after the first spray but you will miss some and the eggs hatch with 3-4 days

spray the plants every 3 days for 9 days and your cool to harvest a week later, no bugs!

Thanks. Ive been hitting them pretty hard with the neem oil since i discovered the problem but I allowed a lapse of about two weeks between the first treatment and the second treatment and i think i may have helped create some super mites. Last spray was to days ago and there was alot of bug activity tonight still. Maybe try the cigarette solution? Do you see any problems if they arent all dead before harvest?

are you saturate spraying them? the undersidesd of the leaves in particular, the plants should be dripping wet and is the solution strong enough

you could use a pyrethreum airesol bomb ( hydro shops) , if you do it ASAP....it WILL kill them

you could use tobacco spray, but I believe your not making the neem oil solution strong enough and liberally

if they are still there when you harvest they will keep eating till it dries out and you will end up smokeing the bastages
