Unhappy Pests! Please help

I have two sprouted plants in party cups right now. I'm using MiracleGro, and i have my plants stationed in my hay loft. It's kinda hot up there, but the real problem is that i'm getting small insects in my plants: little black 6 legged ones, and lady bugs. Can anyone give me some advice? Those little buggers could prevent marijuana from entering the world!

i dont know what the little black ones are, but dont worry about the ladybugs, they are beneficial to your plants in that they kill other bugs

Hmm 6 legged? I don't know, spiders eat aphids, and other little insects too so they're benficial like the other ones. What you want are little brown bumps popping up on your plants. Those are bad, along with aphids which are tiny tiny black bugs, but unless your outside you wont get aphids.

get the plants out of the hayloft

you know that there are tons of bugs, snakes, mice etc etc etc in that hay, those balers are indiscriminate

rinse the plant with cold water to remove whatever the bugs are, and watch it closely next few days, spray with neem oil if the water doesnt wash them off

thanks everyone. i will try the cold water and also i read somewhere else that some onion and garlic with water creates a pesticide, so i'll try that. unfortunately i can't move my babies out of the loft, because there's no other safe place to grow them. but just so you know, the loft hasn't been used for storage of hay in many years, there's only a few bales in there. also, there are bumble bees that live outside of the barn, could that cause a problem if they got in?

thanks all
