Question Does my one seedling look ok?

This one sprouted a day ago. Seems to have a little yellowing on the leaf edges. Noticed it this morning and it hasn't spread. Lowryder #2. I've got it in FF Ocean Forest, p.h. adjusted bottled water to around a 6 or so. Watering when soil is dry a few inches down. Red cups have 6 holes, two on the bottom and 4 on the sides of the bottom spread out evenly. I'm using 5 32w 5500k CFLs spread out over several red cups. The image file is about a meg with ALOT of detail...

and here's my setup except the light on the far right is not properly aligned due to me taking a photo...

Im not familiar with that soil, but checking it out on the net I see it contains ferts
your soil seems to be burning the seedling, although FF soil is organic it does have worm casting, peatmoss, bat guano and possibly more items that contain nitrogen
transplant to something without ferts and save this soil till they are established plants

seedlings cant tolerate ferts for 4-5 weeks

your water PH is low...needs to be in the optimum range 6.5-6.8

I have two other sprouted seedlings right now that are showing no signs of any nute burning. Many people have and continue to use FF Ocean Forest soil during an entire grow. The soil is ph balanced between a 6.3 to 6.8. If this one dies from a nute burn, so be it I cannot be buying more soil right now. However, if all of them start showing nute burn, then I will get Light Warrior. I will adjust my water.

I'm wondering if perhaps I have the cfls too close to the seedlings/soil. It does get quite warm in there but not hot. I know that after I give the plants a good watering, the top of the soil gets dry pretty quickly.

There is indication of burn but that could also have happened during its emerging from the soil with the edge of the peddle leaf resting against the soil.

I think it will be fine, many use that soil and have no problems at all so you shouldnt have to worry too much.

Thank you for the reply. Today there hasn't been any worsening of this seedling or any other so I'm glad. I made a new batch of p.h. adjusted water right around 6.3 as opposed to around 6. My tap water is around a 7.5 - 8 so I have to use Advanced Nutrients ph Down. I tested the run off a few hours ago and the p.h. was quite low so with the new water, it should go back up quite nice. I also took a new cup of soil without any seeds and watered it with the new water and tested the run off and it seems right. I really like how Fox Farm has their soils set between 6.3 - 6.8.

You should see how big it is now. Over 2 inches wide and it has been about a week.
