brown tips

My plant is about three weeks old and doing well under a 125W CFL light on 24hrs. I'm watering approximately once every couple of days and I fertilised for the first time about a week ago with a very weak dose. Some of the leaf tips are turning brown, have I over fertilised, over watered, is the light too close or is something else going wrong?

over fertilised, seedlings need no ferts till they are 4-5 weeks old
give it a flush with PH corrected water

I had the same problem. Once they've been burnt from nutes, is it possible for the leaves to regain its natural colour? And can it affect yield in the end?

Without pics hard to tell, but, i would say PH problem or PH fluctuation . What PH are you running?

The leaves never repair, they will eventually die off....

it will effect yield, if you dont fix it so new growth isnt affected ... the leaves are a way for your plant to say "Hey get my food right and I will grow big and strong for you" "monitor my PH and dont overfeed me"
