Will the damage stay permanent or does it go green again?

I had this happen in my first run. When I removed the plants to spray them down with soap to kill some spider mites I burnt the tops of the plants putting them back in. Just a thought on what might of caused this. Once it hits the bulb, that area is toast.

yeah man with those HIDs you need to keep a good distance between the tops of the plants and the light... you already see what heppens if you dont. also, check out Dierwolf's guides. shows some tips on leaf cutting to get light into the lower areas of the plant... so at least your plant wont look so damn goofy with those burns keep us posted
