I have a great plant going but the stem is really purple. why is that???? how can it be fixd. It you;d like to see my pics my post is on the indoor growing section under the title "Looking for someone to help me out on the way to flowering"

It can be from stress or lack of nutes

some are purple . and some can be from stress or yea lack of nutes possibly too much

Purple can be in the genetics of the plant/strain

purple is also a sign of phosphorus def. however the phosphorus def can be caused by nutes unable to be transported up the plant because of temps below 55F
