Yellowing on tip of leaf

The plants are about 2 1/2 weeks old and i recently noticed that the tip of one is turning yellow. I am using 200w cfl with fox farm organic soil. I have not started giving nutes yet and i do not have a ph meter to check the balance. Any help diagnosing the problem is greatly appreciated. Also some of the leaves have little white dots on them, but i am assuming that this is because i had the lights too close to them.

I'm having the same problem with my babies. I tried removing the foil i had hanging from the ballast and from doing that made them look much healthier. I'm still wating to see if the yellowing of the tips is going to go away, but i believe it's that or from over watering..

Im just going by my own trial and error. and btw this is my frist grow, so someone smart help us!

very possible & common to overwater, but the plants are also just about @ a time when they need a little ferts

start with 1/4 strength, general purpose ferts like 10-10-10 & dont water till the dry out

yellowing tips

I have the same thing going on with my 2week old litle babies.I wont worry until I see something real noticeable. In older plants yellowing tips mean too much nutrient, but it could be different with young plants.Did you fertilize them at all?I did and I am wondering if it was too much?I am going to feed them with just water for a while and see what happens. My plants are definately not over or under watered.
