i need some help

this is my first plant it's been growing for like a week,the stem is the only thing growing there are only four small leaves on it,do i need a better light?

what kind of lights are you usings and how close are they? You might just need to move them closer.

I can guarentee if that's what they're doing and you immediately thought it was streching due to low light, that yes you probably do not have enough light, or you don't have lights of the correct spectrum. Read Kamel's CFL Guide "sticky" at the top of the first page of the General Indoor Growing forum for good info on cheap lighting.

If you want to know for sure, pot pics of your whole set-up so people on here can help you the most.

i moved the light closer and the leaves are growing a little better but the light sucks it's like off a fish tank or somthin it was the only thing i could find but i'm gonna try to get a better light tomorrow,what is a cheep light that works good?


i got a new light and the leaves are starting to get a little bigger but it's still kind of messed up i'll put some pictures on here could some one tell me how to fix these?
