please help, my ladies are sick

can any of you fine people lend a hand at diagnosing this sick plant? the first pic is of one of the lower leaves that are yellowing at an alaming rate, and some also have brown spots showing up on the leaves. the second pic is of one of the bud leaflets that almost look scorched, but aren't burned. it just looks like they are dieing off. at first i was informed that it was an N def, and gave them a shot of high N fert. i thought that took care of things but i guess not. they are under a 400w hps, being fed foxfarms in soil.

Have you checked the Ph of your soil? The Ph of the water you use? As you've prolly read most problems are due to a too high (mostly) or low Ph. Test those if you haven't first before you go adding any more nutes or ferts. Ph problems will manifest themselves as deficiencies because available nutes in soil are locked out.

well, i flushed tonight and whilst doing that, i saw on the floor of my cab, little tiny bugs. little bastards that jump like fleas, but much smaller. looks like the babys are white and the adults are black. gonna have to go to the horticulture store for some juice i guess.

ifu got bugs they're nesting in the soil of ur pots, they love warm moist places.

i know it's not ph related, because according to my meter, the ph has always been between 6.5-6.8 and they're fed purified water. the bugs that i've found i believe are fungus gnats. i made up some of that wonderful smelling garlic and soap pesticide and sprayed them last night. i'll have to check today when the lights go on. if that stuff doesn't work, off to the hydro shop for some chemicals.

after some research, i've found that they are not fungus gnats, although i don't know what they are, they're not that. the little fuckers jump just like fleas do. i'm thinking they're thrips, but i'm gonna get one under my 'scope and see what it looks like up close and personal. any other ideas, guys?

If there in the soil you'll need to treat your soil to kill off the little fricken bastards.
