Little holes on leaves - what pest?

I've noticed that some of my leaves have holes on them, or like they've been chewed on by something.

The only thing I can think could be causing this are fruit flies that are somehow in my house that seemed to have spawned from the hookah tobacco I bought recently. (They love this stuff) Does anyone know if fruit flies have this effect on plants? That's my only guess as to what could be causing it, but even then I never see fruit flies around the plant.

Also I had a nutrient overload a week earlier, does nutrient burn cause this ever?

I'd like to also note that it hasnt gotton worse that I can see, and it's very limited...but any advise or experience with this would be helpful.

Sorry no pics.

yes nute burn can look like pest invasion, i dont think fruit flies make that much visible damage to leaves. usually holes from nute burn will look like a tear from the outside to the inside. put some fly traps up to stop the flies from buzzing around your crop

Alright thanks, that's a lot what it looks like, a tear in the leaves. And it hasnt gotten worse so it had to be the nute burn.

That's good though, last thing I want to deal with are pests right now

lol actually the last thing you want to deal with is nute burn, pests are easier to correct without screwing up the plant.

True enough. I fixed it promptly though, but it was amazing how much nute burn I got only after 3 days of over ferting. They're doing fine now, though I just switched to flowering and I'm still waiting to see which ones are female...It looks like 2/4 will be female but it's really hard to tell. I'm guessing from what I've read this will take about 1-2 weeks to really tell.

This is another question, since we're talking about nute burn. I was switching over to the aqua veg canna ferts from GH flora series, and I followed the chart which says 2 teaspoons/g, does this mean 2 teaspoons EACH bottle of canna nutes, or 2 teaspoons total (ie: 1 teaspoon from part 1, 1 from part 2)? Seems like a dumb question, but you gotta learn somehow, and in my case it might've been the hard way.

I'm actually using the GH nutes flora series for the flowering period...I'm not too sure I want to switch over to the canna flowering nutes because it seems like since my resevoir is only 6 gallons the canna nutes lower the pH way too much gradually, I'm talking dangerously low. (with distilled water anyway) The GH nutes are nice and stable pH wise for me.

Dier wolf- You seem to be an expert, nah you ARE an expert. I don't suppose I could ask some advice on a flowering nute schedule with GH from you? I know GH has a chart...but from grower to grower, what you found works the best. (Assuming I'm in week 1 approaching week 2 of flowering, moving from there and considering my plants are on the 'large' size (3-4 ft/as bushy as they're allowed, hell I need more space) Also, since I havent been following a chart really, it's hard for me to start following a chart that's based on a weekly schedule since I vegged them a lot longer than average due to various reasons. Also - I have rhizotonic and canazyme, can I use these with the GH nutes? I really like the rhizotonic especially.
