dead bud

well on one of my outdoor plants there are a bunch of buds on it right now and they have all been growing well. the buds are proabably gonna weigh out to a G for each of the tops. one top that has been growing well so far has now stopped growing and turned purple and dry. i dont think it will be smokable. the best desctrpition i could give it is just dead. i have given the plant a very small amount of ferts once and put some slow release nute soil in there too. not for the nutrients but just to get a little more soil in there cuz the soils washed out a little and the time release shit is the only soill i have left. can anyone explain this phenomenon? thanks!

Slow realese ferts are the worst things to give to weed. They are either badly over ferted or you have a severe p deficiency. Just fill the pot with some more soil, lose the slow realese ferts [if possible] and give them a good flush.
