Angry Sick lowriders. better pics.

These are teken today. Drying on leaves ends/edges advanced a bit. All grow seem to be halted. Since they got new water yesterday with ionic nutes yesterday, and ph did not came higher than 5.6 after going few times through rockwool, so I suppose it,s not problem with medium balance.
Would they react like that if medium was to wet?
Or is it magnesium (I havent got epsoms so it is still to be treated).?
Please help as I'm getting depressed by even longer need of buying my smoke.
Yours faithfull
Potmaniac

P.s: Sorry for opening new thread on the same subject, but I couldnt find option to attach more pics in yesterdays one.

considering the size of your plants, it's more likely an abundance of something rather than a deficiency. I figured it was pH because that's most often the culprit with hydro/rockwool. Overwatering is also likely, roots need to breathe.

Hallo. Ph seems to be stable now (I was naive to start grow without tester), and on a good side damage seems to stabilise now (no new burning on edges). I treated them with 1.5 tsp/15l of epsom salts today, just to exclude Mg deffisiency. It also seems that late seedlings are doing bit better. Rockwool was already washed through, when I planted last 2 or 3 into main setup, so they have not been so shocked with Ph.

I'm watering 4 times /24h for 15 min each time. Obviously airstone sits in tank.

Good. If you can keep it stable, you're ok. Keep testing it, that stuff has buffering capacity until next Sunday.

Also, carefull using salts. They'll stick into rockwool. Less is easier fixed than too much.

Maybe

I have gained a huge amount of experience killing seedlings lately so maybe this will be good advice. I have had the same problem. But even my 2 cents may be wrong.

1. If you think you are over watering then you probably are. When I eased up on the watering things got better. I think it is possible to over water in rock wool.

2. PH tends to creep up fast in rock wool when it was not treated properly. I think what happens is that the roots in the rock wool get zapped by the 'wool's' high PH. It was a catch 22 for me. I would pour 5.5 distilled water over the offending wool. That would keep the PH down. But then the plant was over watered. On a bubbler, when the roots came into the solution the plant health improved greatly. NOTE TO SELF. DON'T USE ROCKWOOL UNTIL I AM MUCH BETTER AT HYDRO.

3. I have a bonzai blueberry that has been really abused through 1, and 2. I figured if I can just keep it alive till it grows stronger then I can veg it until it gets big. It seems to be working. But the other day I added some nutrient to the solution at a much lower dosage than specified. Result: browning leaf fringes. I am telling you this because I would go really slow on adding nutrients to your solution.

I think if you can just stabilize you will be OK. Your grow may take a little longer.

Good luck.

p.s. I got a soil grow going as well, just in case!

Thank You.
Your post seems to be spot on.
I came to the similar conclusion yesterday, as all treatments with nutes and salts didn't work.
Somehow I feel lucky they still alive.

I swiched off the pump, and washed rockwool through with low ph, low nutes (about 10-20%). I'll wait for it to dry off and wash it again, and try to workout new feeding program.
Problem is that this plants are not really suppose to have vegetative grow.
This are lowriders, so they are ment to start and finish flowering under 18h light within about 60 days from seed (in my case it will not happen that smoothly). Because they struggle now I think there is big chance, that if any I'll get some micro crop. Well, still hope for any.
Anyway as soon as I manage to get them going I'm planting some skunk #1.
I bought some nice regular seeds yesterday.
More hope for some dope.
People.Thanks again for your help.
Let all the stoners stay together.
