young plants showing problems

hey all- several of my plants, 3 weeks old have yellowing leaves, some just the lower leaves but a couple of plants are all yellow. on the lower leaves the yellow is turning into brown spots and the leaves are dying. the soil is good soil, have used it before. i am using alaska fish emulsion, watering every two days. 400watt hps system. is this a nute problem or soil ph problem?? i am going to get a soil pH tester tomorrow... if it is the pH how do i fix that problem? i dont have any pictures but hopefully u guys can help

how big are your pots? may be rootbound if you havn't transplanted your seedlings

they were recently transplanted into 3/4 gal pots bout week and a half ago. here are some pictures, only thing is i removed the dying lower leaves on some of the plants. any help is great though.

How do you measure when it's time to water? Do you do it every 2 days no matter what, or do you check the soil?

its usual every two days. i check by sticking my finger in the soil bout an inch to test if the dirt is indeed dry.

That fish emulsion has a lot of N in it and is very strong. Kick back a bit on the ferts because it look to me to be fert burned.
