Roots coming out

One of my plants roots have started coming out the drain whole. They are in 5 gallons of soil. Surely I don't have to transplant? Should I leave it alone, or push the root back into the soil, or cut it? I don't know what to do. The root is white and not brown.

The plant is about 29 inches tall and on day 9 of flower. I started in an 18 ounce cup and put them into 5 gallon grow bags on week 2 of veg.

leave the root... i doubt it will hurt
