What does everybody think? Looking a lot better now huh? They are getting general hydroponics 3 part nutes with a dose of liquid karma... ppm are down to around 600 now...I originally used full dose of nutes. Nute temps are around 73-78 F and the ph meter is right. Also couldnt the purple stems be heriditary? Thanks for the replies.

YES, they do look a lot happier. So it was high nutrients eh! , I think you knew that tho. Some of the bottom leaves will still die off a bit but you totally turned it round, good job. I bet you're sleeping better now. As for the purple stems, I have seen so many posts on this subject on here and other sites with no definitive answer. There seems to be so many reasons why this happens. I'd put it down to the abuse you gave them. But then I'd be keeping an eye on it. Last edited by max11max; 11-01-2006 at 09:33 AM. |

Thanks guys...she seems to be doing a lot better now. One thing though...does anybody know why she started making 5 point leaves after 7 point leaves had already appeared. They are back to 7 points now and the newest growth looks like it has 9 points.

Yeah, if you can't get food you don't grow. It's just the plant conserving what little energy it can. Keep us updated with the progress tho, any pics. Best not put them here as it's no longer a problem Last edited by max11max; 11-04-2006 at 05:51 PM. |

Not looking good. It seems all the fan leaves are turning purple but the rest of the plant is growing good and has good color. Does anyone know if a certain problem would cause the purple fan leaves or should I just write this off as the strain? I said it was bag seed but it is not from schwag. It was the only seed I ever found in the strain (very good homegrown). The last growth is the newest fan leaves. They are green but have started to change to purple.

Not looking GOOD? I think you should go back and look at the 1st picture you posted. There looking well on the road to recovery. In that picture the whole plant had purple stems. So relax, it will get sorted whatever the problem is (If there is one) i'm sure |
