Use dr broners magic soap with the neem oil. Get some Monterey garden spray with spinosad and some aloe juice(health food store) Alternate these 2 combos every 3 days heavily. In the mean time take your cuttings but don't neem them. If your kitchen sink has a sprayer on it then lean a cutting board at an angle in the sink. Then trim cut and dip like usual. after they root spray em down again then plant em in to their pots and begin the spinosad/aloe and neem/magic soap regimen after transplant recovery. best of luck man just keep everything clean and stay on top of your management/prevention.
Thanks man wheres the best place to get the dr broners and the monterey garden spray, at any garden store? Also does this method permanantly get rid of the mites?

Your best bet is preventative action.. They drown very easy so make sure you always spray young plants down regularly..neem is wonderful stuff...

Unfortunately this is true. You're only weapon is persistent prevention and population control. Mix up your products and keep everything clean. Quarantine cuttings in another room and keep your veggers well sprayed. They're like herpes: once you got em you got em and it ain't going away you can only control the flare ups and hopefully not give em to someone else ha ha

Dr bronners soap you can find at Fred Meyers and th garden spray you'll have to either hit up the web or go to th hydro store. 16$ for the concentrate. Always get rhe concentrate not pre mix spray

I have personally rid my ornamental English ivy (in the house) from SMs by applying 3 applications of spinosad over a 10 day period, top dressing the soil with neem cake, and spraying a diluted neem ferment that I made from the neem seed meal. You have to be thorough with spraying & always spray at dusk or before the lights turn off.
3 punch knockout....wam, bam, thank you mam

I have a couple of clippings in a root riot tray, the oldest reaching 1 week today, and the others at day 4. I took a closer look this morning in an attempt to check for any progress on the rooting, and i noticed those little mite bastards coming up the stem from underneath. My question is, is it safe to use a neem oil [einstein oil] foliar spray at this stage, or are they too young to take the barrage of insecticide. I know preventive measures are the only real way of combating this issue (using my closet as the cloning/veg area, so they must have cought a ride from another plant) but i needed to know if these clones could be saved.
FYI: They are blue dream, using clonex for rooting.

with neem products make sure you spray right before dusk (or right before the lights turn off). after dark will work as well. if you dont do this, some molecular compounds in the neem break down by light degradation and it makes the spray useless....not to mention the harm it could cause to your plants..........
hope this helps

well allthough you may have them now, it isnt permanant...so you can be as strong as you wanna be..
fact is they love mj, and a preventative measure must be used, but hey maybe youve been growing longer then me...

Having a bit of troubles with my recent cloning attempts (first try
)

Those clones are still good to go. Neem is ok but what you should do that has become a vital step in my pest control. Take them to the kitchen and lay a cutting board at an angle in the sink. Set the water temp about Luke warm to room temp. Then dangle your cuts upside down and spray them thoroughly with the kitchen sprayer or just run them under running water. Shake em off then put em back in a clean tray This literally washes eggs and living mites right off the plant. I do this everytime I clone before I dip them. I grow blue dream too and this works wonders
