I need help gettin this girl...

Alright dudes, here's the low down on my current situation...

So, there's this girl who i really like, and we hang out quite much.
I'm pretty sure she likes me, but she keeps saying she doesn't want to be in a relationship right now...

See, I work with this girl, I go to parties with her, we hang out and everything, and it's all cool between us, but she says she doesn't want a relationship.
Neither do i.

I just got out of one, (kinda dick to be interested in someone already, but oh well), and i'm not too into the idea of committing to one person.
Like, i like the idea of being in an OPEN relationship with her, but i'm not sure to approach her with this idea.

Any suggestions?
As in, do i just tell her, do i wait, or do i do something else completely.

Heres some basic facts about her:
- She's 17
- She just became recently single
- She's not a whore/slut
- She's much more experienced in sex than me... :0
- She's from Jersey (what that has to do with anything, idk)
- She's really easy going and up for anything thats fun basically
- She has told a few friends that i'm not her type for the sole fact that i smoke too much. (fml)

She's from Jersey? Shit so am I? Give it time man, let it ride a bit... ya both just got out of relationships... dude you might give her the wrong impression despite you're close history. It's better to have a developing relationship with a close friend that takes time than to rush into something and quit possibly lose a friend... Give it time, but like push the issue a bit, like slowly and slightly, see how she feels about it, if you start getting positive responses, I'd say go for it, but don't just start coming up with shit you should do, that's when we usually fuck up. Girls don't like it when dudes come on too strong bro. Just like friendly flirt and if she friendly flirts back, keep it up, if not, give it more time... If she's worth not losing, than it shouldn't be hard for you to put in the time and effort dude

Okay, in all honesty, I would use the whole sentence about up to the ....

I really do usually take an honest approach with girls, and it almost always work for me. Yesterday, (im in a very similar situation) I left this girls house after drinking with her, we both have recently gotten out of relationships, and kinda like each other. When we left, I said something along the lines of (I was really drunk, not quite verbatim)

"Hey, I think you're pretty cute.... and I'm not really looking for anything serious, and I think you feel the same."

She nodded and asked if I wanted to stay with her.

I said another time, cuz we were both really drunk. And she was like "okay, I can respect that, I'll see you tomorrow."

Just anecdotal advice, but I always value honesty above shiftiness. I mean, if it were you in her position, wouldn't you want to know what was going on?

Nah, chances are she'll want to teach you a few things. Women get like that, and if they're good..learn as much as you can. Don't be surprised if she's shy for a kiss at first, or eager to get your hand in her panties.
