I can't get girls

Just be friendly and don't be a downer, don't talk about yourself unless they ask. Keep them occupied by making them talk and make yourself interested in what they say. You don't have to be a spontaneous mad man, but just go with the flow and try to have as much fun as possible. If for some reason you make the moment awkward just say "sorry I get nervous and tend to be awkward when I want to get to know someone" and then ask if she'd like to smoke(only if you think or know she smokes(if I go to a party I keep an extra joint just in case, heh silly I know)). Girls rarely turn that down if they do smoke, would you? That'll let you ease into spending an actual extended period of time with her. You don't have to seem confident just don't seem like you have low self esteem. Smile and try to give off a vibe a person would like to be around. If your good at entertaining people by telling stories or explaining things, go for it, as long as she seems interested, if she doesn't cut it short and ask her stuff and let her do all the talking, just agree and comment(don't criticize). If she doesn't smoke or you think she doesn't,(I don't know how much of a smoker you are, but I'm not really into girls who don't smoke at all(or smoke too much) so I would just be like "oh alright" and call it quits heh) ask her if she'd like to do something some time, just make believe she's a normal person like you haha(she is).

Just don't be negative, don't criticize, don't Complain(unless your branching off of something she says) especially about your problems, don't be sexist, or just downright inconsiderate about anything.

Oh and maintain excellent hygiene, no girl wants a dude that smells or looks bad or dirty(some faint cologne wouldn't be a bad thing either, girls like a smell that makes you stand out(in a good way)). Dress nice, you don't have to wear an Armani suit, but just don't look as if your wearing something you pulled out of some pile of clothes from the bottom of your closet. Also make sure you have some manners, you don't have to treat her like she owns you, but treat her like her smile is worth the effort.

Keep your head up homie, if your finding that your getting too nervous to go up and talk to some girl, just remind yourself that when your older your going to regret not having had the balls to do something for yourself.

I use to be just like you but I changed overnight (literally). If I get rejected I just keep it moving. I dont dwell on it or take it personally.

Whenever Im out and I see a nice girl I just tell her exactly what im thinking at that moment. Usually when im that spontaneous I usually dont plan on trying to pick them up. I just say whats on my mind and not keep it bottled up inside. Just doing small things like that makes gives you more courage and confidence. Everytime you give a girl a compliment, give yourself a pat on the back, feel good about yourself because you just made someone feel good about themselves........everone likes a compliment and plus it builds your confidence in talking to women

Remember you're no different from the next guy. The only thing he has on you is experience. Repetition is the key to mastering any skill. I still get rejected from time to time but I just keep it moving.
Remember when ur in a conversation with a girl, its important to maintain a fairly steady conversation. Before she's even finished what she was saying think of something else. Saying anything is better than saying nothing.
Usually for me I tend to come up with these genuine, original ice_breakers. I dont consciously think of it, it just pops into my mind and I just say it right away because if I think about it for more than 5 seconds I begin to think its stupid.
Like all these guys were saying, confidence is key.

Well, there's the answer to your problems. Just be yourself and relax. You are your only enemy here and you're just creating obstacles for yourself. Focus on making friends and overcoming your self esteem blockage and the rest will start to happen on its own.
