Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

I've never ordered seeds...

However, I did vacation to Italy, and bought a handcrafted switchblade from a shop. It's pretty tight. I sent it back through FedEx, n it came through just fine. This leads me to believe that the postal service is indeed backed up. I would think that packages at least get X-rayed, but if mine did wouldn't they have noticed the switchblade?

Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

I just wanted to add another site that can be used to host photos with no account or signing up

www.imagevenue.com

If someone else said this site, I do apologize. My eyeballs can't handle reading all of the posts to find out

A switchblade doesn't show as such on an x-ray...

Neither do seeds show as such and only raise suspicion if a visual exam of the x-ray or an address on "the list" is raising a red flag.

There is no officer sitting there all day looking @ every single x-ray taken. It's an automated system being used.

Only items that have been flagged for one or the other reason are being examined further.

Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

I bought 500 zip lock bags off ebay and when i got them in my letter box they had been opened and searched through. I didnt think much of it at the time but now I am thinking about buying some seeds online and I was wondering do you think they are watching what comes through to me overseas because of the bags? probably just being paranoid but I just wants some other opinions.

Nice, but if you're caught with them, it won't help. "Plausible Deniability" is what's called for....

Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

So, I could buy a glass bong from GrassCity.com and there wouldn't be a legal problem? (I live in NY by the way)

If it's unused, it's legal, though there's a possibility it could raise suspicions, especially if they're already watching you for other reasons. My guess is that the volume is high enough that it's probably safe.

Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

couldn't you find a house that is empty or up for rent close by and have them delivered there? I mean, some houses take months to rent out or sell and you take a risk out losing your seeds, but so long as you don't use your name and all, seems safe enough. Only flaw I could see is the delivery people might be tipped off, but most delivery people don't give a shit, but really what could they do as long as you play it cool?

Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

Hello fellas.....newbie here. Just wanted to add a quick comment. I would guess ordering is pretty damn safe. I have some personal experience. Back around 2001 I was in a weightlifting phase and experimented with steroids for a while. I safely ordered from overseas many times. The last order I made was for 1000 Dianabol tabs and it was seized by customs. But...... you guessed it, all that ever happened was I got the dreaded letter stating that they had seized it and blah blah blah. I wrote the order off as a loss and never heard from them again. I used my own address but a fake name. Once customs seizes an order I highly recommend finding a new address to use. Once my order was seized I played it smart and laid low.

Re: Ordering- and other ONLINE SAFETY....

The best thing to do is go with a reputable seed bank but to further shield yourself use a Personal Mail Box. The UPS Store is perfect for receiving all of your packages and it's the only way I get anything delivered, ie lights, soil, seeds, ect.

I have had no problems thus far

Still smart?
tbh thers not many websites that dont accept them, and just like any other product, keep the recipt if you want a refund to get a different brand of pre-paid cards, ther is many to choose from and they work quite well and you dont need to be 18 or older to use/buy the card or anything off the net
