Hey I am new to growing and live in the US, land of the free home of the brave, unless you smoke weed then your not so free. Anyway I love my country but let's skip the soapbox right now. Getting seeds from abroad is quite risky, no. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, WORRING ABOUT IF THE SEEDS ARE COMING OR IF YOU GOT TAKEN, REALLY SUCKS. So I was wondering why not swap seeds with each other those of us that live in the US. Now I know there will be times when some shithead will send some bag weed and call it a "superstrand" while you have sent them some killer white widow. So we would have to police, I hate to use that word, ourselves. If shithead in question does such a low act then we need to post his/her ass on a link to let others know. We should stand together and help each other ouT. "TOGETHER WE STAND-------DIVIDED WE FALL" I mean it's so obvious, you send me Northern light and I send you Thai. Yousend me master kush I send you white widow or whatever the combonation, everybody is happy happy. And the best part is we could be getting our seeds in THREE DAYS not 1 month or so after paying $65 for 10 seeds and 5 free 3 year old seeds that might or might not germinate.

It can work, and trading does work well among trusted friends.

Now, I could list all the flaws and pitfalls in the trading approach. But you would say I have a vested interest against trading. So, I'll leave that as an exercise for someone else.

When you are trading, first, you need a superior strain to grow for trading purposes.

So, where do you get your starting stock?

Many will simply buy some primo seeds first, and trade later.

It's your choice.

You should script a website based on this, using a forum aproach. Allow people to trade like so, and if a person is accused of not sending the right seeds or any at all, they should have their ip's black listed from the site.

Although they could still go in through a proxy or a ip spoofer or something.

I would never trade anything with someone I only knew over the internet.

It makes a lot of sense for people who know each other to share costs by buying seed togeter, trade seeds, or share clones. If these are people you know face to face, then you know who they are.

But someone you only know on the internet? C'mon, the only thin you know about them is that they're not discrete on who they deal with, and that's not a good recomendation.

My opinion is you try it if you want. That will give the DEA something to do other than to bother me.
