Problems with Highgrade Seeds

There is a lot of nice looking stuff on their website. Guaranteed shipping. Express shipping for orders over $100.00. I decided to give them a try. It all only looks nice as long as you dont need them to stand behind any of their guarantees.

Usually with a first purchase from a new company in another country that accepts only cash, I would purchase a minimum amount just to be sure everything works out fine. I was suckered in by the offer for express delivery (5 days) if my order was over $100.00 and to top it off the delivery was guaranteed.

I sent the money on the 14th, they received it on the 15th and shipped my order on the 16th. It should have been here on the 23rd. On the 25th I sent them an email asking them to check on this. They told me that it was mailed on the 16th but his girlfriend forgot to send it express mail so he apologizes, they should be to me next week, this was Friday.

I sent an email back explaining that I spent an extra 60 bux just to get the express mail and a half hearted appology just doesn't quite cut it. I also made sure they knew I would be posting this to a public forum regardless of the outcome and gave them ample opportunity to respond.

They didn't respond over the weekend so I decided to wait Monday for a reply and still, no seeds and no reply on Tuesday. I sent another email just this morning and still no reply.

Maybe they are a good company and maybe this was an honest mistake but if it was then why dodge my emails?

Maybe they seem good only until the time when you take them up on what they offer on their website, guaranteed delivery and express delivery for orders over $100.00.

HGS, you need to either take that crap off of your website or get behind it. If you have done it to me then chances are there are others. I just hope they stop by here to tell us all about it.

These public forums are the only thing we have to protect us from the many seedbanks that are not honest and all I am doing here is offering an honest report of what happened. I would welcome a response from HGS but if he doesn't have the backbone to respond in email and has to blame his problems on his girlfriend then chances are we wont hear from him here either.

So far it is as if I have sent my money to a non existant address. No product, no email response and a website full of nice looking deals that so far are all bullshit.

Be careful you don't get stung by this bozo. He may get your seeds to you but don't ever get extra seeds just to get his express mail deal. That is a bogus load of horseshit, just like the guaranteed delivery.

Day 16 and still no seeds. Still no response from an email sent last Friday either.

Man, I'm sorry to hear you're having such a shit time. I've had nothing but good luck with them. I have never had an issue getting a hold of anyone @ HGS.

I would post your concern and give it time. They're pretty damn busy up there.

from what I have heard about them, I should have some 3-4" plants now if they had been shipped as advertised.

I posted a complaint to their board this morning and now i am banned. There were no bad words or anything either. Go check it out for yourself in the introductions forum.

Like I said earlier, you never know a company until you have a problem with them. Then their true colors show. I was patient until yesterday when I sent the 2nd email and started posting here. I even told them in the email that I do post everything to this site for others to see so they know who can be trusted and who can't. Everything was up front. I told them that Friday when they first told me they screwed up. I all but begged them to let this have a happy ending for this board to read. All I needed was a response. I saw another post where someone said they always respond on their forum so I gave that a try and now I am banned.

I did send them an unpleasant email today, maybe that is why.

I did as they said to do. I sent $120.00 cash and was guaranteed express delivery. They screw up so all I get out of the deal is to try and inform others of their ways.

Just be careful is all I can say. There are plenty of people with good experiences that will tell you all about how good it is but like me, there can always be one that slips through the cracks. With the cost of sending them the money I am out $150.00.

Just don't send the money unless you can afford to lose it.

Another day and still no seeds from HGS. No response to my email from Friday or Tuesday either.

Day 17 of no seeds
Day 6 of no email response.

That's funny, there was another blade here who mentioned that he got some lame ass excuse for them not sending the seeds "express." Bro that sucks, hope you get your beans soon.

Thanks stnorris. The first post said it all but there is some new news.

I got an email response from them saying that if I haven't received them by a certain date they will resend them. I will wait until that date and see.

Caligrow, I never did anything to you. Why don't you just pull your finger out of my ass and leave me alone. One of the main things I am doing here is just bringing attention to a problem that I have experienced with this company. I do hope things get worked out and whatever happens will be reported here. No company is perfect and the way they handle a problem will speak volumes about them. It isn't like I am just making this stuff up. Go rip your bong a few times and let's see how this plays out. There's no reason to get so angry, I am not trying to do anything to you so lighten up.

Don't get me wrong, I am still not happy that it will take about 3 weeks after they were supposed to be express mailed to me before they will even be shipped but right now I am thankful that maybe I wont be losing all of my money. Most everyone else has never even heard of a problem with them, I did get an email response so as of now, I will wait until that date. Maybe things will work out.
