Problems with Highgrade Seeds

I finally got my seeds today, 19 days from the day ordered. They failed the express delivery as stated on their website and also forgot to send me any freebies (as stated on their website). I have sent them another email telling them my seeds arrived and also informing them that there were no freebies.

The guy said that his girlfriend forgot to send it express delivery. I guess she forgot the freebies too. He really needs to have a talk with his girlfriend if she really is the reson for the multiple problems with my order.

I had finally resigned myself to the fact that perhaps this was actually an honest mistake but now with the only other thing they say on their website also wasn't taken care of sounds very "fishy". Maybe this time it won't take them a week to respond to my email about this.

The main thing is this. I did get my seeds. Not as I had planned or hoped and sure not as advertised but I am not out $150.00 either which is good.

Now I will just have to have a little more patience to see if there is anything truthful about their website. Hopefully the genetics are better than their promises and better than the girlfriend's ability to fill an order correctly.

I guess I could really have a huge hope in that maybe his girlfriend was stoned on some of these genetics and that is her reason for such a major fuckup with my order.

I was just coming back to say I made a mistake. I just realized there are extra seeds in each container when I started them germinating. Some of the other threads I have read and the way it is worded on their website, I was thinking there were going to be a couple of seeds of a different strain. Others have said that is what they got. I made a mistake and I did get extra seeds.

At least I have something to bitch about rather than just bitching to ride someones ass for whatever reason you feel this great need. Thank you for making me see that there are others that do bitch more than me. If it makes you happy cali, bitch your little ass off. I don't really care. At least when I make a mistake I will admit it and dont feel a need to call someone a bozo for a mistake that I made.

The bottom line is this. I did get my seeds, I did get extras, not how I hoped or planned but I did get them and it is definately better late than never.

I got the same story. Girlfriend mailed package to me. That was Jan 4th. I never got anything back. I did get e-mail response is I didn't get anything in mail I would be mailed another package after a month of waiting. HGS hadlived up to their rep of guaranteeing delivery and that says alot. I personally have been cut off their forum because of venting and now I cannot post my TRUE feelings about their varieties. AVERAGE. I am waiting to finish up Celestial Star and that does look promising. Yield is accurate but potentcy is AVERAGE.
CALI GROWER, Ive tried all of your tired old Humboldt varietites and they are not as good as HGS stock. Not to start anything but CALI has lost their edge . Plus here out east, we are closer to Amsterdam. 350r/t for me 9hr flight. AHHH.....

I was cut off from their forum too for the same thing. I can't even look at the pics anymore. At least I'm not out the 150 bux I could have been and if it had been just about anyone else, I would have been out the money. I would like to write the end to the thread showing that the seeds did arrive.

What all strains have you tried and what are you comparing them to as being average? How is the taste?

I never said Cali strains were good - I did say that HGS seed stock has performed fantastic for me. I get over 3 oz on average per female from their strains.

Based on your reporting of your situation I probably would have reacted to them similarly. You come across here, so I presume in your communications to them, as civil and expecting nothing more than what is fair.

CaliGrower, you are entitled to not believe someone else, but man, you really are coming on way too strong given what I've been reading here. If you want to have a spirited discussion or even a debate on merits then that is fine, but I don't see how name-calling and unsupported accusations help to make your point.

Unless these genetics are something more than what even I am expecting then I will not be purchasing anymore of these seeds. No matter how good something is there will always be mistakes. If we can't come to this forum and report honestly what has happened in our dealings with a business and if that business feels a need to have someone so closely allied with them to monitor this forum and blast anyone who has anything negative to report then there must be a reson for this. They must not be counting on repeat business and only want what they can make on their first sale.

I made a mistake and as soon as I realized that I did, I admitted to it and corrected it. Experienced businesses know how to take a mistake or a negative comment about their business and turn it around into a positive experience (which this could have been as well). I would have reported any positive response just as I have negative responses. An email these people sent me was completely out of line. Like was mentioned before, you only really know a business once you have a problem with them. If they take care of the problem then fine and it looks like HGS was ready to do that. Why in the world they feel such a need to continue in this attack several days after a resolution was found is beyond me.

Well, so I now see some reports of problems with HGS and also some reports of no problems with them. I hope all name-calling can now be concluded, and caveat emptor when buying beans.

I was upset HGS did not send and waitin a month did not help. Well, yesterday in my mail was a package from HGS. Also, they e-mailed me saying they were sending a replacement pkg tomake up for the missing pkg. That was last Friday. So now I guess I Owe them $$. They did make good on a promise 4 months ago that if not satisfied for any reason HGS will replace at no additional cost to you. They lived up to that too.They actually replaced with something fantastic! Celestial Star. Very nice 12wk to finish. Worth the wait. So HGS is a great company and they deliver with what they promise!
