no brothers grimm anymore? C99 & A11 about to be extinct?
man, i just tried to find brothers grimm original Cinderella 99 which was still around a couple months ago to no avail. now, it looks like only joey weed has it through hempdepot and reeferman at his own site!
every time one looks, another place that had it doesn't anymore. about three years ago, it was available from half a dozen places for $25 feminized six packs to $80 knock offs. anyone know of a seedbank that still carries brothers grimm seeds? i coudn't google anything other than grow reports. it would be very sad if C99 became extinct as it's the coolest strain ever if it lives up to it's descriptions. could it be that sour diesel is knocking it off the charts because everyone wants loud flavors and no-one wants stealth? these are the only two places i know where you can still get cinderella 99 and her mellower son apollo 11 too for that matter C99 http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/joeywe...derella99.html http://www.reefermanseeds.com/forums...emid&itemid=17 A11 http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/joeyweed/Apollo11.html

size isn't an issue with C99. that's why i think she's so cool. she finishes in something like 42 or 45 days. she's actually faster than alot of alleged indicas.
as to knock offs, i can't say 100%. it depends on the grower. i know one dude i was talking to that grew out some seedsman malawi gold said it totally sucked and to try afropips if i ever try it, but i've seen alot of favorable reviews for nirvana knock offs. it's kind of a dice roll. i'm kinda worried about my C99 splashes after hearing that spice brothers' beans aren't exactly the best, but it's what i have. i'd say try and find reviews for ANY strains from a given breeder you're considering. if they get nothing but the gas face like KC brains, stay away from them. it's really hard to find great beans with so many breeders and strains out there. i know i REALLY wanted to try extra grapey "the purps" after reading about it in the cannabible only to find that the original breeder is selling it, but crossed with something else if you read the fine print. for $100, i want PURE breding stock, or at least crosses that i approve of like C99 with extra trippy vietnamese trees. check out these resources and see if you can find any reeferman & joey weed reviews reeferman http://www.onlinepot.org/OGStrainGui...eds/index.html hmm... pretty consistantly high rated, if rated. i'd say maybe go with reeferman afterall. i'd rather get top genetics even if it costs me a crushed bean or two joey weed http://www.onlinepot.org/OGStrainGui...eed/index.html has two actual C99 revies, can't get any more specific than that use this search engine to find out the lowdown on any strain on the market a couple years ago. i created it because the OG database doesn't show up on google etc. http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=00...%3Akek5zf0mvzi here's a great review site with strains listed alphabetically. specific strains & breeders are hit and miss, but it's alot easier to browse than randoom topics in chat forums and it includes ratings http://www.weedbay.net/modules.php?m...ction=cat&id=1 another nice alphabetical review resource http://www.meduser.ca/viewall.php this site has reviews of a few specific breeder's strains including brothers grimm, but no joey weed or reeferman, but it's still great for window shopping http://www.marijuana-seeds.net/reports/index15.html and finally, this site is more about pretty pictures than detailed reviews, but you can search by different categories like breeders as well as alphabetical. i thought it also had a filter for reviewed strains only, but that must be a different site https://cannabis.community.forums.oz...list.php?skin= these sites should be helpful any time you're looking to add new strains to you garden. bookmark 'em for safe keeping.

i'm working it out right now actually. i'll end up doing LST or SCROG i'm sure. if you're interested, check my grow out at
http://forum.grasscity.com/grow-jour...ious-grow.html i just stopped by reeferman's a few minutes ago, and he doesn't have and C99s, A11s or any of the other kick ass sounding sativas did just a few months ago anymore! if no-one has C99 anymore after i harvest, i'll see if i can get this site's sponsor to give my C99 crosses out GC members as freebies with any order or something. that's my main point in growing seeded bud, to share grows with everyone i can. i might sell them on weedbay for extra cheap too. i'm not growing for money. i'm growing because i haven't smoked regularly in the past three years out of disgust for nothing but indicas on the market and telling every dealer i've had to go fuck themselves the second they jerk me around or act like they're doing me a favor overcharging me for couchlocking bullshit. if this site's sponsor doesn't want to hand out my freebies, i bet a nickel doc & gypsy would love to. freebies encourage sales right? i just found out that joey weed will have C99 again at the end of may in another thread. YAY!
