The first email from the company made it clear the company wanted him to contact them:

hours (9am to 5pam CET) – We will be more than happy to discuss this with you in person! PS Offices remain closed on Tuesday 1st January 2008.

The email is obviously a draft reply they use in this situation to explain their position, but by adding that line to the bottom they were clearly saying their reply isn't complete.

When they didn't hear from him they sent the second email virtually begging him to contact them, and I guess he still didn't call them because in the end the company called him and set things right.

The mod was right he was lucky to get the seeds.

This thread is all I know about this company but based on it they seem like a straight up company to deal with, I'm definitely going to their site to see if they sell the seeds I'm interested in purchasing.

He showed us the first email they sent saying they were not going to "fix the house" before he ever made it public. In your halfass attempt to put this in another light, you need to compare apples to apples. If the home buyer had things not done right and the builder sent an email saying they would not fix it then the buyer should make it public. That is what happened here. The first email said nothing about making telephone contact. that came AFTER this was made public. Sensi had the chance to fix it before it was made public. If Sensi doesn't want these things made public then they should fix it before it is made public.

As far as your Pizza Hut theory goes let's make it sound like this story.

If I went to pizza hut for four years then I was going there because (apparently things arent too bad because im going back) and then one day some kid taking my order was a huge asshole to me i wouldnt take my business to dominoes.

You conveniently forgot one huge thing here. Pizza Hut gives me something that I wasn't wanting then refused to make it right and then a kid they hired was a huge asshole. You can't keep conveniently forgetting there was a problem, they were given the opportunity to correct the problem and this whole event was taken public only after sensi had refused to make it right.

If hotdogz had done as you are implying he would have not gotten the resend of those seeds.

If I am not mistaken Sensi is a sister company to DC and doc did this exact same thing to me. He gave me excuses in private and got all upset when that excuse was made public. He is very unprofessional for someone who has so many happy customers. Many of the excuses I have heard here sound like some of his cronies having slithered from his own forum over to this one to post some half witted lame ass excuses as to why it is okay for a seedbank to do whatever they want to whoever they want for whatever reason they want. Is true they can't really make any guarantees but the fact of 100% males is so odd that good busienss would denote sending a customer of 4 years more seeds without all of the drama. If you don't then expect it to go public. If it goes public then too bad. You had an opportunity to make it right.

Here is the bottomline.

Don't say things in private that you don't want the public to find out, especially if they are customers.

I smell doc's methods of trying to excuse his way out of a bad deal and to make little snide remarks even after things look settled. The SOB did that same thing to me and now it looks like he is doing it to someone else.

Isn't Sensi Seeds a sister company to doc chronic?

If not then what is that seed banks name that is also a part of the doc cronic company?

This just seems to have doc all over it. If it isn't doc I am smelling here then I guess this is just SOP for seed banks.

The best advice for hotdogz is now that you know the devil you are dealing with it might be time for a change. There are many seed banks that DO provide good service without all of the excuses and drama.

it seems apparent you didnt read the thread right. they did not deny helping him and then he came here, as you can read in his post above this one, they did all they could.. he was pissed off that he got shitty seeds (he has that right, i would have been pissed off too) but he made this post because of that, NOT because they wouldnt help him.

they didnt have to refund his seeds there is NO guarentee. even after seeing him post negative feedback to their company, they STILL are sending him seeds. SO.... sounds like a pretty damn good company to use. as much as you may believe the statement "the customer is always right" it is OBVIOUSLY a bullshit statement. sometimes your better to cut one customer out, than give him tons of free shit if thats what it takes, you dont want those type of customers to be a drain on your business.

PS what are you talking about dont say things in private, if you dont want people to know about it? im sure they arent mad he posted those emails, they were upset about the neg feedback. besides why would they worry about the reposting of the emails, they didnt saying anything that wasnt true. i think you need to re read this thread. because so far, amsterdamage, myself and the original poster would all go back to sensi and purchase again...

good job hotdogz, glad you got it settled and im sorry about your shitty germ male problem, def something that couldnt be helped! you have done all the right things i think.

doindia, you are right. I did misread that. I am sorry and you are right.

He is lucky to have gotten the seeds now that I reread that mail correctly. Most places wouldnt give you the time of day after they have your money. I hope you have good luck with them in the future.

I think my next purchase will be from high-gradeseeds.com. I was looking at their site and see some mouth watering strains there. I'm sure anyone can make anything sound good but they do have a guarantee. Thinking maybe throw support to them for awhile and maybe others might start offering some form of guarantee on delivery or something. It will be interesting to see if their claims of higher yields and greater potency hold any truth.

I've been dealing with rhino for awhile now. No problems to speak of yet. Pay with plastic, delivered in 7 days, good prices and they carry seeds from the same place everyone else does like Dutch Passion etc. The skunk #1 and White Widow have all been females for the few I have planted but the Afghani Hindu Kush from so far is 0-3. Out of the 3 seeds I have tried only 1 germinated and failed to ever sprout. Maybe they were old or something. Maybe there will be some that make it in the other 8.

Thanks for putting me in my place doindia. I will read closer next time.

Never grew white rhino, only white widow and just growing my first bunch of it now. High-Grade does have some other interesting strains.

all male seeds is totally possible, if not probable. in fact, the odds are probably more likely than winning the lottery.

1 = 50%
2 = 25%
3 = 12.5%
4 = 6.25%
5 = 3.125%
6 = 1.5625%
7 = .78125%
8 = .390625%
9 = .1953125%
10 = .0965625%
which is about 1 in 1,000

it's extremely unlucky, but 1 in 1,000 isn't that big a longshot. you just won the "bizarro lottery". someone has to. even if the 65% female stat is right, then odds are still less than 1 in 2,000
