looking for a NEW seedbank with choice sativa dominant strains

i've had great experiences buying seeds from both gypsy nirvana and drchronic, but sadly, they don't offer many of the strains i'm interested in. i just recieved my spice brothers (lien huanh X A11g) X A11g beans from the doc and seeing that i've stressed the heck out of all the other strains i've been plucking for daily leaf trim, i've tossed them and will start from scratch. i've also decided to NOT grow my troublemaker (hindu kush X masterkush) freebies as i want a 50-100% sativa grow.

the strains i have now are:
C99 splash (C99 with about 8% lien huanh <vietnamese>)
(A11g X lien huan) X A11g
pure power plant
mixed sativa (sativa seed bank)
haze skunk
california orange bud
&
bubblicious

</vietnamese>
i'm looking to add two or three sativa dominant strains (1 pure one) to the mix and am likely to breed them all to the euphoric and lemony A11 genius strain as apollo orange is what i really wanted but is no longer available.

i THOUGHT that mixed sativa wasn't an actual strain, but was a mix of all of the sativa seedbank's strains. the one i REALLY wanted was sativa mexicana.

i'd LIKE to order from reeferman as they have most of the strains i'm looking for and offer 1/2 packs too for those $$$ strains like love potion #1 & kali mist, but i refuse to order from them because they refuse to create a real website and use PDF which i despise almost as much as flash.

so... does anyone know of any other decent seedbanks that HOPEFULLY has sativa mexicana as well as love potion #1, kali mist, burmese, hawaiian sativa, cherrybomb II, senor garcia, or malawi gold so i can add 2-3 more strains to my collection for $100 or so? i'd be happy with just a 6 pack each of love potion and kali if anyone else besides reeferman offered it. yes... i'm stubborn and difficult, but will continue to boycott RM until he drops that freakin' PDF sheeit. i refuse to yield a millimeter for flash or PDF on principle. i also refuse to send money through the mail too, so gypsy is totally out of the question at the moment. (their service is first rate otherwise)

i'm not counting on my original 1st purchases either as i only have 2 seeds each and some of them might be male only. i might not get a female orange, PPP, mixed sativa or bubblicious, so i'm looking for plan Bs.

any recommendations (including killer sativa dominant strains i've overlooked) are appreciated. i'd also like strains that are different from what i already have too. as much as i'd like to grow pure haze, i'm looking for more practical indoor strains. i would like something fruity or lemony to breed with the A11 though. i was thinking burmese or hawaiian as they're both compact IBL "sativas".

thanks in advance for any help with seedbanks i'm not familiar with.

I don't know the answers to your questions, but...

1) Do a google search on the strains you want, you might find a link to a seedbank that way.

2) Mixed sativa should be grab-bag of different unidentified sativa strains, not the name of a specific strain.

3) An unsolicited opinion: it sounds to me like you are being extremely picky. Doc and Gypsy each rep a couple dozen or so breeders, each of which offers from a handful to a cornucopia of strains and cross-breeds. You won't buy from someone because they don't have pdf on their website? Wow, to me that's cutting off your nose to spite your face -- if they have what you want is their approach to technology that important to deny yourself? It's your choice, of course, just suggesting you widen your perspective a bit and focus on what truly is most important to you.

4) If you do find a seedbank that says they offer what you want they may not be reliable. Even if Doc and Gypsy don't have the exact strains you want, they generally are reliable. Which would be better, definitely having beans in hand that are excellent but not exactly what you want, or order exactly what you want only to see your money disappear and nothing to show for it? There are reputable seedbanks out there besides Doc and Gypsy, just a warning to really do your homework.

hey... i have no issues with doc or gypsy other than my gypsy freebies not hatching and their CC option is down. EVERYTHING i already have in my collection came from either shop already. it's just they don't have the higher quality strains i'm most interested in now. i REALLY want either burmese or hawaiian sativa to breed a lemony sativa IBL with lemony A11.

yes, reeferman has AWESOME genetics, but i just feel that SOMEONE has to make a stand against evil hideous PDF and flash websites. to me, NEVER yielding to an enemy is far more important than getting what i want. i'd rather do without ON PRINCIPLE. buying from reeferman only encourages him to continue with his clunky and confusing PDF jigsaw puzzle because he's too cheap to have someone design him an honest to goodness webpage or too lazy to learn how to do it for himself. PDF drives me nuts and i 110% refuse to do business with anyone who promotes that bullshee. "going with the flow' is the single worst evil that exists on the face of the planet where i'm coming from. accepting a less than comfortable position because you hold your ground is noble. if MORE people quit giving in to the easy route, the world would be a better place. i ALREADY put a hardheaded disclaimer in the post from the begining. i think it's A GOOD THING.

i already have some decent genes to work with, but as i get more and more into named varieties, i want to diversify and raise my standards a bit.

i DEFINATELY agree that mixed sativa is a terrible name for a STRAIN, ESPECIALLY when you deceptively mention "a variety of types of highs" in the description. it's probably a nice strain though. it's one of the most vigerous i've popped so far once those tiny specks take root.

as to CHEAPER strains at doc and gypsy, i've pretty much grabbed everything they offer that i want and i really want what they DON'T carry now.

i've tried search engines before, but you really get mostly junk results that route. most of the reults are just forum threads like this one.

I just picked up a pack of Mandala Satori from Doc's. My tastes are similar to yours I think. My plan is alot less ambitious than yours but my first cross will be Satori x C99.

hmm... i vaguely remember seeing satori but probably ignored it out of unfamiliarity. WTG with the C99 cross though. THAT is the strain i'm most keen on because it's fast growing unlike most sativas, NOT skunky like it's super silver haze sibling but ESPECIALLY because it's considered trippy and paranoid and after starting out smoking a "pinecone thai" that was just like that, i just can't groove on indica BS. even 75% sativa skunk #1 annoys me, but that could be because the overpriced cash crop grower ($50 an 8th!!!) selected indica dominant phenos.

i do hope you share smoke reports on your 2 strains AND the cross here to get the word out. there are a FEW of us sativas only people out here, but i think the main reason for that is anyone who started smoking after 1990 has never tried a real sativa which is sad.

i might just end up going back to doc again for nirvana big bud and sativa seedbank sativa mexicana and possibly federation crown royal (mikado X hawaiian sativa) but i'd rather get 100% lemony hawiaiian sativa to cross with lemony A11 which will likely be the next thing i breed with. i was going to do it this time, but i'm down to my last 3 C99 splash beans so i need to get a back cross of that for safe keeping.

i don't know how ambitious i'm being. i just have a 4 1/2' X 4 1/2' closet to work with and want to sample some REAL weed and a couple flavor strains.

the single gram buds each i tried of durban poison & especially kali mist were the ONLY uplifting experiences i've had since thai disappeared and everyone went cash crop. the only thing i didn't like about durban was the disgusting licorice flavor as i hate bitter. it is EXTREMELY authentic though and would make your friends beg you for more if they like the taste and have never tried a sativa yet. i want to undermine $$$ growers by showing their unwitting customers how much better getting HIGH is. indica = depressant to me. i don't care if it's in the hallucinogen family too! i vote it off the island. LOL

i just might try to slog through search engine junk results to find a new bank with the "rarer" strains i want to try. i'd like to find 2-3 keepers after harvest. then again... i'll have all those hybrids to test too.

i should also give growing my shroom spores another try. i think the wet vermiculite i used the 1st time threw the recipe off and made all of my dishes moldy. shrooming gives a nice energetic euphoric buzz too, but it wasn't at all trippy the one time i tried it. it's alot cheaper and faster than weed too.

if you're looking for some of the best strains, visit the best strains according to EVERYONE post i'm about to create. i tried to statistically analyze everyone's "top 10" lists in another forum to make sense of it all and the results should prove helpful to anyone looking for the best strains available. i'll also post a link to the cannabis cup rusults too as that's asolid second opinion.

p.s. regarding the "right to an attorney"... aparently you've never heard of the patriot act then.

holy crap!

for all of the junk results i've gotten looking for burmese, hawaiian sativa, love potion #1 & chererybomb II etc., i've stumbled across literally DOZENS of seedbanks looking for kali mist! i guess sedbanks don't waste their time listing CHEAP strains then and only concentrate on $$$ varieties.

i'm still not keen on $102+ for kali mist unless i can find a new site that will throw some freebies in with the order. many of the sites i found have crazy markup on their stock. heck... i've seen several sites that stock nothing but $15 nirvana strains and resell them for up to $80!

i've said it before and i'll say it again... there's way too much greed in the seed biz! (and especially the weed biz for that matter) i don't care HOW skilled a breeder you are, one plant should never be worth 10s of thousands of dollars in seeds!!!

then again... i'm coming from the "i'll GIVE anything i can't smoke away" mindset.
