Four people know where I grow?

So a few years ago I had a nice couple plants and I was growing them with my REALLY good buddy (like we would do strait anything for each other, that kinda friendship) This year I will be growing in a similar location however through some brambles, probably ~100yards away. Over the last part of my first grow, and even after it I showed a couple people my grow spot, reasons listed below. Tell me if you think my new spot (can't be seen at my original spot) will be safe even with these people?

1. Really good friend I grew with, going to school down in Boulder so he is like the least of my worries (smokes me out when I'm dry, vice-versa)
2. Best Friend (grew up with him since kindergarten) he helped me move my soil/clones up to my spot for my first grow...during the day...so sketch!
3. Good friend, we were gurping (shrooming) up on the hill by my house and we came across the path I walk to to my grow, decided to take him down to it since my tent was still down their. We were both off an eighth of shrooms so I doubt he rememers.
4. Somewhat good friend, off and on, smokes on the occasion, i forget what he helped me with, but yeah.

I went through this list like ten times in my head thinking if they would ever go back. My answer is NO...what do you think?

The first rule of growing is tell no one. You clearly broke that. It is upon your discretion if it is safe. I'd say No.

If you dispose of these friends correctly then you're fine. I had a friend who knew where I grew once and although the police where suspicious for a while I hid the body in such a way that no-one could trace it to me.

You'd be amazed how fast a "friend" can turn on you if they get arrested for weed all they would have to say is "I know someone that grows" they would get off with a slap on the wrist.

oh man....i would say bail on that spot. If you are not busted by cops id say youll have some harvest snatched on you.

this is the bottom line....people always talk. always. ALWAYS. best friend or not. I have had one friend, in my entire life, who i would trust to tell, and that was only after ten plus years of friendship. Ive had people who i would consider to be very good friends break my trust and tell people about things way less important.

I always like to cover my ass. with everything. I always have a backup plan, and my original plan is usually worked out in finite detail before ever being implented. when you get sloppy, you get caught. youv already opened yourself up to MAJOR risk. Even if you do move them, what happens if word spreads and someone rats you to the cops?, once they see your grow spot with no plants youll still be investigated.

If you never tell anyone, the only way you can be found out is by a freak accident, and hey, thats a risk you just have to take as a grower. also please see pg 62-63 of the Cannabis Grow Bible.

BOTTOM LINE TRUST NO ONE, TELL NO ONE. GOOD LUCK, AND KEEP GROWING!!!

you kind of fudged your self there but it happens, my tip on the safety issue is to go out there and pin a weeks pay to a tree leave it for a few weeks and come back for it, if no one has found your money then id say your fine

Just because people may know about the grow in Colorado does not mean they know where the hell it is...? The second guy has no reason to tell anybody where exactly a grow is. The third guy could tell people it was in was in a "general location" but again, it would take days to search everywhere around my grow area...only one entrance/exit.
The last guy doesn't have any friends. You guys act like my friends are going to go around like
"Hey, so my friend grows on this trail thats called .... in such and such town, here are the directions you can go check it out!"

Whats the probability of your friend getting busted... if they lead a "dangerous" life id say they are a security issue. If they happen to lay low and play by the book chances are that they arent gonna get in such a mess as to point fingers at you.

Most of these guys lay low, although the one a gurped with is a little more dangerous (went down to SC for last night and he was trying to get me to do molly and acid...I just went for the .2g, still had to drive home this morning:smoke: All in all I think I'm ok, only time will tell!

I grow in my room and my friends have seen my plants before but a lot of them grow or sell weed so they know risks of telling people shit. I'm really not worried about it. If I get parNoid I'll tell them the lights fucked up and they all died

one of the 4 will go back...i knew this kid that had a party at his house and showed everyone his plant in his backyard....dude was a truck driver only home on the weekends...it wasnt me, but one of our so called friends went back and paid him a visit lifting the whole crop.....

Your one flaw is that you say people will tell people who will tell people...this can't happen unless the conversation goes like this

I guess we will have to find out. How about if I harvest my crop at the end of the season you have to smoke 2 grams of my harvest in 5 minutes. Deal?

If you are dead set on growing you at least need to change your spot.. That spot has been compromised.. It happens.. I agree with leaving some money somewhere around the area you want to grow..

See if that money stays there or is missing after a week.. Then you know you need to find a new place to grow..

It is human nature to be curious.. I can assure you that your friends will go back.. At least one of them.. If you grow there you can forget about a harvest because it is going to get ripped..
