my mind is so fucked, have to break
recently my mind has been so slow with bad memory, slower speaking, etc. (this is when im straight) i dont smoke excessively, maybe 1x or 2x a day at the most. but i gotta stop( or as it turns out, slow down) to see if it goes away. my parents have noticed it and im just starting a new semester.
but... it could be a side effect from the medicine im on too. i used to be on a medicine that had similar side effects- topamax aka dopamax. but i have to stop to see. has anyone else had problems like this with chronic use of chronic? im hoping if i can get off tihs fucking medicine ill be cool.

if you look at the people who scored Topamax a 1, they experienced what you are experiencing. Disorientation and confusion, difficulty speaking. etc. edit: actually even people who scored it a 5 have said "can't find the right word" and that they feel strange all the time. |

the drug im on now is called zonegran. i havent smoked since saturday and so far i feel exactly the same.

i used to be on zoloft, and when i would forget to take it for a day or two i'd feel either disoriented or like i'm falling forward through weird tunnel vision....and i'm pretty sure weed made that worse.
but about your question, i think i probably slur my speech more now that i'm a smoker than i did before i smoked...and i also failed out of college once because all i cared about was smoking. but honestly it's all in how you take it. i don't care if people can tell i'm into herb because i might 'talk like a stoner' and now i know how to be more responsible with my smoking so my grades are back up (made a 3.75 last semester and i was totally baked the entire time). so yeah....maybe take a break and see if your mind clears up....if not light up! |

yeah...ive decided to not buy any weed for a lil while, partially to save some bank, and partially cause finals are next week and my mind has gotten to that point where its mush when i need to use it, i guess thats what smoking a few grams a day on weekdays, more on weekends, booze, shrooms and coke do to ya

Even if it is your other meds, if you smoke consitantly for a while your
mind gets a little foggy. I notice it when someone asks me what I did one day and I have to think about it for a little bit. It's not a big thing its just like brain is a bit disorganized. It's always good to take breaks once in a while to clear up your head.

It's gotta be your other medicine, Fubar, as you'd be "fucked up beyond all recognition"...
 I've been tokin since 1969, & seeing that it's just about 1993, that makes it, uhh...about a lotta years.  If I were me, I wouldn't worry about it. Hasn't affected me wrong at all.
