Recommend something to buy
Hey, I'm new and also dont personally smoke but have a large group of friends who do. I was looking to spend $35-$40 in the grasscity shop and after looking through it abit decided to ask those with the knowledge what would make the best gift for that price range. Most of them are well seasoned and are almost always smoking in social settings of at least 3 people. They have a pipe they use rarely and a glass bong they use often. I was thinking theyd really love a big new bowl for the bong or maybe a new piece something interesting like this: http://shop.grasscity.com/shop/grasscity/ph13.html
I want to get them something that theyll all love. What would you guys suggest a good buy? Also if I get a big bowl, what would i have to know before i buy? Is the slide size pretty much a constant or do I have to ask them what size will fit their bong? |

I can't answer your specific questions because all I ever smoke from are pipes. But I think that is a great piece and a great idea to kick back with a few ppl. It's like the laid back setting of smokin hookah, only you've got weed instead lol. I think it's a great idea as a gift to them. But if it's like a hookah, just make sure they know that they'll have to put their thumb over the ones not being used while others smoke, unless it's got ball barings (sp?)...

Im not sure, but if I were you I'd get a bong or a bubbler,maybe a pipe. Ive only used one hookah it had 8 hoses an 6 or 7 people were usin it and it didnt let it hit. It formed suction(sp?) so noone really got any smoke. It mighta just been because there were so many hoses.

yeah dont buy that, 4 people will cache that thing in a flash. if they have a large glass bong an ashcatcher would be a plausable and probably well appreciated gift. an ashcatcher or slider would need to be either 9mm or 14.5 most likely, find that out and youre good to go.

All the smoke will tend to go to the two closest hoses. Get them a nice bowl.
Not too big but big enough to get good hits. |

if they dont have an ashcatcher for the bong they use a lot....buy them one of those. They will love you.

I agree with Philis and mietoe, get an ashcatcher for them. Or you can just buy them some weed :P

no way man. If you just buy em herb it will be gone in a few days. A nice bong or ashcatcher will remind them of you and your friendship each and every time they use it.
