the fact is bong lets you take much much bigger hits, taking one big hit will get you higher then taking many smaller ones, its like shotgunning beers compared to slowly drinking them.

hey dudes. I personally prefer joints. I like the taste better, and bongs are such a mission to lug around. I like to smoke when im driving. When a cop checks you out and sees ur puffing on this bong and billowing out smoke it will get kinda shit after that =P Wehn i smoke a J cops dont see a thing coz from far its very easy to mistake a J for a cigarette. I also smoke roll up cigarettes so the tobacco is a good cover

second, ill still be tokin it when ur dead earlier from the extra carbon monoxide and dioxide.

if people only knew the science that goes into bongs...

Not any. Engineering perhaps, but even then its more to do with designing, not how to make the smoke healthier.

not any? how about figuring out to make diffusors so that the smoke has a greater surface area so that the water can cool more of it? how about that because the smoke is in smaller bubbles, it reduces the ammount of water soluble toxins (carbon monoxide and dioxide)? not to mention the engineering that goes into designing them.

while the amount of tar that is present in the smoke from water pipes is debatable via the various research done, it is still relatively certain that smoking out of a water pipe removes harmful carcinogens such as carbon monoxide and cyanide.

Now, regardless, marijuana does not kill anyone, no one has contracted cancer from marijuana due to the fact that the smoke is not radioactive (no polonium 210).

This has alot to do with the chemical make up and how the ganja is grown, but generally it will not kill you, no matter the smoking device, so this thread is generally insignificant if you consider that overall truth.
