Would this work? (expert opinion wanted)

I ran across this recipe for gnutella (or peanut butter) crackers that require only a gram of weed per two crackers. There is actually a video-intructional that shows the making of these cannacrackers.

For those who don't have a high speed connection or don't feel like downloading/viewing it basically works as;

1) Gnutella/Peanut butter (high in saturated fat) is spread on two crackers.
2) A gram of finely chopped bud is put onto the crackers.
3) 2 other peanut butter/gnutella covered crackers are pressed atop the two containing the weed.
4) The crackers are twisted slightly to cover the bud inside within the butter.
5) The crackers are placed in the oven at 350F for 15 minutes
6) The crackers are cooled and eaten.

Sounds like a more cost/time efficient manner than cannabutter (which requires hours).

Just wondering if any1 has tried this/something similar and if it has worked to produce the highs of oral consumption of MJ. or if the more scientifically gifted would know if it would work at all.

ive tried it, the peanut butter got all burnt and shitty but it got me nice and stoned

350F is a lot. I would try one cracker at 175f and see how that goes, if it doesn't get you stoned then do 250f.

I believe that the THC is killed when temperatures reach 300 degrees (F). I could be wrong... but I'm pretty sure it's 300. I'd set it on 250 for about 20 minutes... that's how I made mine and they worked damn well.

Actually, they worked very well. Exceedingly well. I only used about a 1/2 gram for 2 crackers. I used peanut butter and it tasted like crap, so once the cookies were done, I covered them in honey.

350 Degrees seems to be the heat setting for many recipes. So as far as the THC dying at this temperature, no..

Secondly, this was really only experimental, so I didnt mind the taste. I just wanted to see if THC could be extracted into Saturated Fats at 350 degrees in 15 mins. seemed a ltitle too easy, but hey...

But on this point, It would follow that better tasting things can be made. I.E. Pillsbury Dough Chocolate CHip cookies or any type of pastry that has a good amount of Fats (2mg of saturdated fats or more). Alot of them require that you cook them at 350 for 15 mins as well (i.e. chocholate chip cookies). Heck, throw a piece of hersheys chocholate in there when u bake em, extra fats

Height: 5'7 Weight: 140 (u may wanna cook more than a 1/2 to get the same effects if you are larger)

Things I noticed:
1) (Wheen baking) It does not smell much, but to some1 who knows the smell of weed, it is mildly noticeable.
2) Peanut butter is a sucky fat to use....ick.
3) It took an hour to kick in (on an nearly empty stomach) and I have a pretty fast metabolism. Once it begins to kick in, I felt a bit ligtheaded, but nothing major.
4) By the second hour I felt as the same way I would've if I smoked a blunt alone......pretty stoned
5) the 3rd hour was very intense, it was hard to move/type cohrently, but it was very relaxing. I managed to put some music on and it was cool.
6) The plateau didn't subside until around the 5th hour, then I went back to feeling very stoned like I smoked a blunt by myself.
7) This feeling lasted into the 8th hour, when I finally began to come down. by the 8 1/2-9th hour it was over

Dont eat the goods unless u have time....and a long time.... Dont eat too much, wait an hour the stuff is sneaky. Don't attempt to drive or do anything that needs fine motor skills when its around the 3rd/4th hrs.
