smoking and usage

Okay so ... ive been smokin for idk how long 2 years i guess? i do it alot.. a quater +/- an eight or so.. a week.. and this only happend one time this bad.. but i was walin back to my friends house and it was a sunny day and all of a sudden i started buggin out and like everything was getting really bright like at points the things that were bright orginally would turn pure white and like the rest was barely visable .. it was like a trip very vivid colurs .. but idk was jsut freaky and once i got back inside and chilld out on the couch and ate it went away. has anyone ever experienced something like this while smoking?

second thing.. sometimes ill be like laying down watchin tv and the phone will ring and ill like jolt up and run to get to it b4 the rings stop and like ill get the the phone and everything starts fading out from the outsides to center and i get crazy tunnel vision .. and this happend before i started smokin but rarely happens to me but one time i was smoking and i jsut finished up and stood up and was walkin down the street and it hit me .. and i started to get it really bad everything went black but i jsut kept my cool and tried to walk stratig .. i didnt really wanna tell the kids about it cause they would be like wtf is wrong with u go see doctor blabla .. and it was like i was blind for only 10 seconds then it finnaly came back.. it never lasted more than like 5 seconds before that was just really weird .. do u guys have any idea what this could be // anyone hear of anything like this at all.. i have looked around for something like it but found nothing:\

The second one is a head rush i believe, you got up too fast and all the blood rushed to your head

Im not so sure on the first experience, ive never had that happen to me, Ive had times where I can only see the snowy crap on TV when the channels out, but that only lasts until I can get a breath of fresh air.

Ionno but if im outside on a bright sunny day the sun sometimes blinds the hell out of me to the point i cant see and I get some of the bright/ disoriented effects you described but i think my eyes are just sensative.

Actually I think it's the other way around. When you're laying down, your heart doesn't have to fight gravity to pump blood to the brain. As a result, your bloodpressure/pulse slows down. When you get back up, your body sometimes needs a sec to get started at fighting gravity again, and as a result your brain is getting less oxygen, hence the blacking out.

i know about head rushes. i passed out from one over the summer. i woke up, smoked 3 bowls and then went to get food (mind that i had been out of bed to fill the bong, and then back in). after i put the peanut butter away, i turned to walk down the hall and thats all i remember until i opened my eyes and was face up on the floor, a few feet down the hallway. this all happened at gofuzzyourself's house, so i woke up with her and her mom standing over me and i couldnt recognize who they were for a little while. eventually i stood up, my food and drink still intact (i dont know how) and we walked down the hall. fuzz's mom talked to us for about 10 minutes, during which i turned white/grey again (which her mom didnt notice) and managed to stay up by leaning on the doorframe. then took a 2 hour nap, all was good after that.

i get headrushes still, but nothing that bad.

headrushes are CRAZY when you're high. i've gotten them pretty bad before. never passed out from one though.

phew..

but its not caue i was staring at the sun or anything .. i like started to panic .. (talkin about first experince) .. like i could tell it was jsut getting brighter by the second and i kept yelling 'everythings so bright' and my friends jsut laugh at me thinking i am a retard and telling me to hurry to get to their house while i can barly walk ;\ it was really freaky .. just kept getitng brighter and brighter ..

I would not worry about it, a freind of mine describes symptoms like yours and he's been checked out for it. Doctors said he was fine.

I also have another freind who has had his hearing greatly intensify a few times from just smoking weed. He says everything hurts his ears becuase their on "full blast". I guess weed just occasionally fucks with some peoples senses.

Head rushes are great. I love taking elevators, person receiving sqwats down and breaths fast and shallow. After they are getting very light headed, have someone go level with them with a blunt. give them a shotty as both of u rise up. You see fuckin stars.

theres also this thing when i get random rapid heart beat and its really like heavy pumpin u can feel it and sorta 'hear' it (i think the hearing it is jsut like throbbing in your ears sound not realy loud) .. but my teacher was describing soemthing the same and he said the doctors said he has an extra flap in his heart and does nothing bad but sometims it gets caught and starts to spaz out causing this .. (idk if i have same thing or not i didnt really bring up the fact i get it to him but i just figured they were the same) anyone ever get the rapid heart shit? ;p

(sorry that might not make sence .. im so burnt out .. just got off hard day of work peace fellas!)

I know my school district always screened for those each time you had a check up from the nurse...but if you weren't having one at that time it could go undiagnosed. If you're in HS, go to the nurse and chat about it, or if you're in college, hit up the student health center. They usually see you "for free" because you pay a fee along with your tuition. Either way, heart stuff can be kinda scary so i'd get it checked out!

Maybe the brightness was caused because of pupil dialation. It's not uncommon to have really wide pupils when stoned. Probably just a freak occurance in which the pupils didn't properly dialate for the light, hence more light and burning brightness.
