Im a seasoned toker and I've tried shrooms a couple of times which made me really want to try some ACID. so if any body would clue me in to what its affects are and the side affects are i really would appriecate it

just take like 4 8ths of shrooms instead of acid. acid can remain in your system for a LONG time.

i woud like to see facts to back that up. ehh i tried acid my first time a few weeks ago. it was alright. it was low grade from what i heard. i need to get some better shit. if you've done shrooms then you should mainly kno for the general part what to expect in a trip. just go ahead for it.

acid fucks up ur thalamus and plugs all your senses into each other. I dont think smells plays a factor though because it doesnt go through the thalamus (switchboard basicly) so what u see... u also hear and taste, what you feel, you see, etc

Imangine being really stoned, fucked up off shrooms, and drunk. Thats about what it feels like, but yes it's true that it can fuck you up later on in life. The only reason you trip on acid is because blood starts to drip down your spine. Years later you could crack your back and have a flashback because it stores in your spine. I have never had this happen, but I have a friend who sometimes will move his back wrong, it will crack and he will just stare for a while and start talking about flying colors on the ceiling. It freaks me out man, I worry about him sometimes but I guess if you want to try it it is worth it............but not in the long run. My advice would be to stay away from acid. Besides if you can get shrooms what fuck are worried about anything else besides weed? I personally would rather have some shrooms. That could be just me though.

First of all, don't listen to the people in this thread. It won't fuck your life up, nothing has ever proved this to be true. Your brain doesn't bleed, blood doesn't drip down your spine, and its not like being high or drunk in any way.

Wow, this is the exact type of shit that I hate. People who absolutely know jack shit about a drug spreading rumors around. I love the rumors like, Weed is like smoking 6 packs of cigs, or the reason you trip on shrooms is because you have temporary food poisoning. Or this one, acid makes your brain bleed? If that was the case there'd be a likely high rate of death associated with LSD, which there is not, because acid has NEVER killed someone, unless the idiot decides to jump out of a window.

lsd is an amazing psychedelic, the most complex chemical make up of any psychedelic
was created in 1938 by the swiss chemist Albert Hodmann while working with ergot, but it was purely accidental
he was trying to find a cure to stop uterine bleeding after childbirth
5 years after creating LSD-25, he was re examining the chemical, he accidentally discovered its psychedelic propeties

it is fasctinating how it takes a such a tiny tiny amount of lsd to have a full on trip, as small as millionths of a gram

in the 1960's, lsd escaped from the lab

lsd does remain in your spinal cord for your lifetime though, and on rare occasions at any given time upon cracking the back, you could have a flashback to one of your trips
myself, i have only had 1 or 2 flashbacks, that only last for about 10 seconds or so

i have taken it 3 times, and it was always in tab form(paper sheet squares)

first time i took 2 tabs, second time it was 5, and the third it was 3
can't remember exactly how far apart it was taken, but it was a few weeks

now, lsd has a very very high tolerence buildup
if you take the same dose, 4 days in a row, in the 4th day, the dose will have 1/4 the effects it did the origional day

i found it a very profound experience, and it made me question reality, and the pure power of the brain
thinking that your brain is producing these images that you would think is real, but is all in your imagination

i would probably do lsd 1 or 2 more times, but once you experience it a few times, there isn't really anything much more to experience, unless its a completely different scenereo. i have taken it in a house at night, disneyland(day time), and then when camping in some wilderness(started in the late afternoon as to feel effects in the day time and night)

lsd seems to have a more happy positive high than the normally darker gloomier highs of psilocybin mushrooms that break down into psilocin in order to get its psychedelic effects
have taken shrooms 5 times, varying from a hald 1/8 to 6 grams

but, i greatly prefer lsd over shrooms
would choose them over shrooms any day of the week

i also enjoyed lsd more besides the fact that it had a more positive mood high, lasted longer, ability to take anywhere, and tasteless tabs, that i never felt any lingering effects the day after
on shrooms, i usually feel a little burned out and slower the day after, but with lsd, i had always felt perfectly normal(except for some spiritual revelations i had during the trips, creating a new outlook on life and shit)

according to Albert Hofmann on "little trips"(small doses of lsd, which he preffers), "He and Others have descrivbed a quickening of thought, brightening of perception, and elevation in mood that contribute to subtle but profound effects on mental function. side effects are nearly nonexistent"

so, after all that, yes, i would recomend trying acid
but remember, the tabs potency GREATLY varies from sheet to sheet
it is heat and light sensitive(best stores in tin foil and in the freezer), and can absorb through your skin, so avoid touching other tabs while breaking them up in order to take your desired amount

a good first dose would probably be 2 tabs
a very nice euphoric high, nice body high, very very thought provoking making you question reality and the powers of the human brain, as well as some hallucination, but not a whole lot
when i took 2, i saw the ground sinking like quicksand , and the water in the toilet making what appeard to be waves, objects moving, but it was nothing to compare to the 5 tabs
during the 5 tabs, i could see through peoples skin, and see all their muscles and veins in amazing detail, as well as looking at any surface, and random bumps or defects in the surface would pop out, and form objects that would move around, and change shape to morph into other objects
also when smoking cigarettes on the 5 tabs, they appeared to be limp, and would sway along with the wind, and the rising smoke would create shapes and creatures

the 2 tabs would be better for a first time due to it not being that strong, so in case you don't like the high, it won't be too strong, and would be abel to control its prolonged effects(normally 8-14 hours of effects)
