F'd up experience; please explain

Hi, hi. I had a weird experience with weed a little while back (about a month) and it's been bugging me since so I just thought I'd get other peoples opinions on it. For the record, I'm not a 'rookie' and have been smoking regularly for quite awhile.

So, one weekend me and some'a my buds decide we wanted to drink/smoke. Hell, it's what we usually do on weekends anyways. We get some alcohol and pitch-in for a bag. My friend attempts to roll a blunt while we start to drink, but fucks the wrap all up so we head on over to another guys house (not a real close friend) to score a wrap from him. He gives us one, and also rolls it for us. At the this point I had only drank 1 beer. Before the blunt, we smoke out of his bong, and then me and him shared a bowl of his weed *mostly* to ourselves. After that we smoke the blunt. I've smoked many blunts of dank ass bud in my experience so please no "rookie" comments. About 5 minutes after smoking I had an unusual feeling, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It felt like an uncomfortable high that kept getting worse and worse, to the point that I was feeling a little nauseous. OK, been there done that. I keep my cool.

Anyways, I just sit there relaxing on the couch with our junkie acquaintence (constantly shootin coke/heroin and smoking crack) just sittin' there sippin' on some vodka smiling. We figure we should get back to my buddies house so we can start really drinking too. I make my way towards the door, but get dizzy and run into the wall. OK, now I know I'm really stoned. I stumble down the steep stairs (barely making it out alive) and to the porch where I HAD to sit down. Right then, I felt incredibly fucked up and didn't like it at all. I got up anyways and started walking back to the house when suddenly my vision started getting blurry. I kept walking and eventually my vision got TOTALLY blurry and then I completely lost my vision. That's right. I lost my vision. All I could see was black with some blurry light trails. I could hear the muffled voices of my friends telling me to hurry up. It sounded like they were talking to me through a tin-can. I didn't even know which fuckin' way I was going, either. So I throw my ass down on the ground, praying that I'll go back to an enjoyable state of mind. Then, I got cold chills all over my body and started to sweat profusely. At this point, I was already 15 minutes late meeting my girlfriend at her house. Fuck me!

I kept my cool the whole time pretty much, and just sat down in the dirt until it passed which took about 20 minutes, after that I just felt very stoned. I eventually came down at about 4AM (About 4-5 hours after smoking) and felt fine. My friends didn't have any kind of weird experience like this.


What the fuck's up? Some incredibly dank bud? It looked like just middies. Laced? C'mon. What's the chances?!

there is no way that bud can make u loose eyesight and by the way u put it,if u were hanging out wiht "crackheads" no offense that shit prolly was laced man.sounds like that shit had PCP on it....i hope ur alright and havent changed ur veiws on the godly green

Yeah i agree if that junkie that you were with, rolled it for you. I wouldnt trust it, but other than that im not sure.

did you share that one bowl with the junkie if you did thats most likely what was laced since only u and him smoked it but i could be wrong and you could of smoked it with one of your buddies i dont know. But if you smoked that one bowl with that one guy then thats probally what did it to you since none of your friends smoked that but you.

I had sort of the same experience but much worse, i figured out that i had a panic attack when i was high. So now i can only get buzzed when i smoke weed or i might get another.

I didn't quite understand what you meant? You got a panic attack while high and can now only smoke weed or you might get another? -That doesn't add up.

Nevertheless; panic attacks and cannabis usage have gotten a nice paralell around here where I live so I've heard stories and a lot of them and would have to also say that it sounds like a panic attack the threadstarter experienced.

That doesn't sound like PCP, coke, heroin, or crack to me. In fact, to me, it almost sounds like you had a seizure...

Heh, by the way, I dunno if you can say that you kept your cool if you sat down and didn't move for 20 minutes (well, I assume that your friends tried to get you to get up). I'd be either pissed off at/worried about someone that acted like that, depending on how much I liked them.

I think what he meant was he can only get "buzzed" instead of "high or stoned" or he'll have a panic attack. He can only have a tiny bit in otherwords. Peace.

That happened to one of my girlfriends, once. She thought the shit was laced, but if I smoked the same weed, out of the same pipe, why didn't it happen to me? I don't think it was laced. I read on this very forum that PCP has a very strong chemical smell, so you'd know if it was laced. You'd be able to smell the PCP. I don't believe it was laced, because everyone else would have gotten affected. Even with the ol' body chemistry factor thrown in, your friends would have experienced SOMETHING. Bottom line? Panic Attack. I believe this because you wrote that you "kept your cool" which means you had to try. When you kinda bury those feelings, they just build. Panic Attack.

plus why would this kid you said your only sorta friends with lace a bowl for no reason... if he was really a heroin/crack addict then i doubt he had the money to be sharing pcp laced bowls with you... but i dunno

just to clear up: he means that when he smokes, he can only smoke enough to get a buzz. if he gets too high, he will have another panic attack.

and for the bad experience...i've had similar things happen to me from cigarettes...they can give you a bad buzz sometimes if you smoke too many, too fast. And with weed and beer...it will make it really bad...i have puked from being high/drunk and then getting a bad buzz from a cigarette.

I sat down waiting for it to pass. I wasn't really that scared. C'mon, what's the worst that could happen? They told me to get up and started acting paranoid like I was tripping out or something. They were the ones acting paranoid when I told them that I didn't feel so good. Anyways, one of my friends took a hit out of the bowl, and didn't say anything weird about it.

I drink like a fish and smoke weed all the time, doing it together is my passion. It takes alot for me to get paranoid or scared from being too fucked up. Hell, the last time I was real fucked up the walls were moving, spinning, and looked like jello and it felt great.. no kind of paranoia or panic attack. I'm doubtful about the weed being laced, but it definitely didn't seem like a panic attack either as I was completely calm. I dunno. It's fucked up.

Hey, this is my first post.

Something very similar happened to me, and like you, I am not a rookie smoker. Unlike you, I'm pretty sure I know why it happened to me.

I had heard a lot about coricidin, and DXM around my school. So one weekend I decided to try coricidin, I took 14 pills, and tripped my balls off. I like it so much I did it again the next day, and tripped again but this time I puked my guts up. Now, usually i smoke weed every day, but those two days I took coricidin I didn't smoke.

The day after the second time my friend called me up and asked me if I wanted to blaze, and naturally I said yes. We smoked a blunt in some woods and as we were walking back I started to get really dizzy and my vision started to blur. I heard my friend talking, but he seemed really far away. I was just fixated on the ground, and its hard to explian, I kind of lost touch with reality. I lost my vision, it seemed like I could see the top part of my vision, and the bottom, but the middle of my vision was just totally gone, just a blurred mess of colors. I couldn't even see my friend, so I just kept starting at the ground. I couldn't see my feet, all I saw was what looked like a redish river flowing beneath me. Somehow I kept walking, and didn't say anything to my friend. He had no idea of how fucked up I was. Suddenly I heard my friend like "Why are you walking in that shit" And as soon as I heard him say that I kind of snapped out of it. I looked up at him, then looked down adn I was walking through a muddy baseball diamond, right down the baseline. I still felt really stoned, but has touch with my surroundings. Anyway, I've taken acid three times, and mushrooms countrless amounts of times, plus I smoked upwards of 4 times a day. I can honestly say this was the MOST fucked up I've ever been. I think it was the after effects of the coricidin mixed with the weed, that's the only explanation I can think of. Anyway, I thought this kind of sounded like what happened to you.

same thing happened to me once only white instead of black vision, i was out in the sun tho, maybe thats the differance.


i REALLY doubt it was laced, people dont lace weed, its a myth (yea i know..)



dont worry about it man, ive known 3 other people just out of my town that have done the same thing.
