Strawberry Haze?

I've found this strain on a few different seedbank websites.

Genetics:Swiss Sativa,NL5 Haze Mist.

^ Nice find TC, but that kinda makes the description of the bud sound like something else now.

Durban Poison grows pink hairs but they turn when it's dried and cured, maybe the bud was super fresh too or something?


The thing with names is- if you cross something that hasn't been crossed you can name it whatever you want... Plus the phenotype that certain people chose to be the stable mother in a cross is not the type that other people favor when they cross.

Names are really vague these days and about all you can guess at is it's main genetics, like if it smells like a Skunk #1 or Afghani or Widow or tastes like a certain well-known type.

If you crossed something you could name it whatever because chances are it's not going to be the same as a seedbank's cross anyways.

Asking if there is such as thing is totally up in the air. If it was good and tasted like Stawberries mixed with Haze I don't see any problem in calling it that, but people have problems understanding that strain names really mean nothing unless you are talking to the grower or can tell strains apart from appearance and taste.

If it was good, call it Strawberry Haze if it sucks call it Strawberry Wantabe I don't know

You do know that Colonel posted a link to Strawberry Haze like 2 posts above you, right?

Now the question is, why the pink hairs? No Strawberry whatever has pink in it from what we can see from both the Cough and the Haze- so what IS it?

I bought some Strawberry Haze seeds feminised from Greenhouse Seeds for this years grow. I only used one of them to give the a try. Here's a close pic of the top about 15 days ago.
I have to say the smell is really strong by now but the size of the plant is not what I expected one can of course argue that I only tried one seed

Strawberry Haze and cough are two different strains. They are pretty much the same thing though.....if you look in high times "strains of the year", you'll find Strawberry Haze made it in top 10, and in the honorable mention list was strawberry cough.........both should be Haze strains grown in strawberry patches, which give it its taste and smell..........I actually bought some strawberry cough seeds in amsterdam this summer and have 3 ladies as we speak!!!.........also 3 clones of OG x Master Kush...................

Yeah this thread was started almost 2 years ago but, I got some Strawberry Cough before. It smelled just like Strawberry and nothing else, the smoke was soooo smooth but I had kind of high tolerence then so I can't really say how good it was.
