I've been smoking once a night for the past 10 months. Smoking, every night, was something I looked forward to all day long. I sit and ponder what I could do when I was stoned that night. The first few months I would just listen to Cat Stevens, James Taylor -- all kinds of softer old songs. I always enjoyed talking to people online, mostly people who were stoned too, but that wasn't nessesity.

I started drawing. Coloring when I was high. I bought colors and started doing it every night

I stopped doing that after a month. It ended up making my eyes hurt and it took the whole high to get on paper what was going on in my head. I even, at one point, recreated one of my pictures onto photoshop when I was stoned.

I then started mastirubating, taking advantage of the incredible difference in orgasm power while blazed than when normal. It became an every night thing for a very long time. After that I would lay on my bed and listen to music, close my eyes, and let my mind take me places that I wouldn't ever normally go. Marching with robots, riding on a long endless path with the colors changing to accomodate the music.

I quit smoking about two weeks ago, and I do so miss it. I promised myself to quit for a month to keep funds up and tolerance down, you know the ol one-two. Last night I was getting reminiscent and layed down on my bed with music playing. I said, in my head, "Let's think about how much fun it is to smoke at night" because, well, I like to torcher myself I guess.

When I began to ponder, the following popped into my head: Well, really when I think about it, was it all that fun?

It felt like I did the same thing night after night and it just got, and this is only in hindsight, very old. Do you think this month break will help this out? Does the City have any opinions?

LOL, maybe it got old because you just sat in your room beating off all the time. Go out and get into some trouble, that'll bring the spark back.

Yea, that month should definately help. From your descriptions it seems like you enjoy your highs. -Your just having them too often maybe?

At least a week off should help clear your mind and make you appreciate it more.

The above posters also have a point as well. You can do anything you want when your stoned but try aiming towards something more productive rather than beating off and then listening to head phones. (The coloring books were a good idea.. Just try sketching maybe with a pencil)

Yes go smoke with friends. Maybe you are lonely not bored? I wouldn't "go fuck shit up", but you should change your routine weekly. I'm not saying stop smoking, but I am saying pick something new to do each week. The longer you do something the easier it will be to get bored with it... +rep - I appreciate the extreme honesty in your post.

There seems to be some confusion here that is caused by my lack of explaining my situation accurately. I love smoking with my friends, when we do get together to smoke which is about every other day. Those are usually fun times, but also in the day time. I'm currently living with my rents, so it isn't like I have free reign over the house. I'm confined to my room, because there are usually people sleeping everywhere else, so that certainly limits my ability to go out and do something different -- but I could stay in and do something different.

And also, fuck stuff up? What the hell kind of person does that? Sounds like a lot of tomfoolery to me.

Smoking + Photoshop is the choice for me when i'm blazed. It all depends on how you view the leaf. If you believe it is right and true, then I believe that you could live on an island by yourself, smoke it every day and not feel bad about it. Just think about it

yea dude i know what u mean about wondering was it all that fun and what not but WHAT THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO OTHERWISE?? just throwing that out there...not saying i don't do shit but i like to blaze before i do anything, even before i go to soccer practice and games and shit, for me it enhances activities and it's easier to be me i guess...because without being high i'm a shy ass kid and when i'm blazed i really could care less what other people think, maybe not the same situation for you but for me i don't have anything better to do in between going out and shit so i blaze and that's how i like to be
