I dunno. I've reached this point with blazing where it just doesn't feel special anymore. I mean, I remember my first joint, and chilling out /w friends & all, but now, I've reached the point where I just don't care if I blaze or not. It's not that I don't get high anymore, it's like it doesn't feel any different anymore.

Anyone else ever feel this way? Maybe it's a case of blazing blues....

Taking a break, switching friend groups, switching locations, switching smoking styles, alternating music, etc...should help

yea man, recentally i havent had as good fun highs as i use to. Back when we just use to chill out and laugh, now its usally sielcnce and boredom

it would be hard but take a month break. If you can control yourself to take such a long break when u start again it will be awsome .. also switch what u use to smoke and the strands you get try to change them often

yea, its sucks the smae thing has happend to me. My suggestion would be to start using combos of drugs. pop a few vicodin before you smoke if you can. it flips around your high a bit, and makes it stronger, so it hits you in a whole new way.

that's never happened to me. Sometimes it doesn't feel quite as special, but I've never gotten bored. I would suggest taking a break. Maybe your tolerance is too high. Don't start taking other drugs just because pot isn't as fun. That would lend credence to the gateway drug theory which I've been trying to argue against for a long time.

It is the opposite with me. I like to just lounge around and do normal things when im high (ie browse the computer, pop in a movie, music, tv etc) and when I do those things while not smoking they just bore me.

I know what everyone's thinking, but it's not the fact that I don't get high or high enough, it's that being high isn't something to look forward to. (And no, extra drugs aside from "more herb" aren't really options for me. Personal values & stuff.)

Switching groups of friends to blaze with is also a huge thing. Funny thing is that before, we'd talk & laugh & have a good time. Now, it seems like you HAVE to do something, rather than just enjoy the high, but it's usually playing poker, a movie, or video games. And I get bitched at in video games because I rape them all for free, high or not. So then, I just don't want to play video games, because they'll choose random games, just because I suck at them. I find poker tiring & kinda boring. And movies usually involve lights being off, which just makes me even more tired. I've seen Spiderman 2 at least 4 times, and I still don't know what the hell happens in it. :P

Don't get me wrong. My friends are cool & all. But come to think of it, it's prolly because of them that blazing's become boring. And solo blazing does get really boring after a while. *sigh*

Edit: And I did take a 1 month break. Well, 3 week. Drug trafficking in Malaysia is punishable by death. In other words, they hang you for bringing any in. Not really something I wanted to take a risk on. And I realized that I was bored of blazing when I got back & smoked this huge joint I rolled before exams.

well then i'm sorry to say that maybe blazing it just isnt for you, u dont need to have someone talk you into thinking it's fun or cool... if u dont feel like doing it, then don't. If you do, then by all means light that fatty up. And don't let boredom ruin your life or lack there of... haha. Just kick it and see wut happens. I love just listening to music and exploring my mind and the world. Reflecting on ongoing events is always chill and thinking about life itself is always helpful. If you feel it's not doing anything for you, then you're probably right, if you feel like u want to experience something else, then just use the time you're blazed to think about wut else it is you want. Don't just blaze it to be stoned, blaze it to open up your mind and use a different way of thinking. Light up that brocoli kid....

See Azn, what happens is you get bored of it, plain n simple, as you suspect, and then you start to smoke crack, cuz your friends tell you its fun. No, im joking jesus haha. What you do, is change your smoking atmosphere. Let me guess, you at one point, smoked the same weed or the same few types of weed at the same house for months. Maybe longer. Well, if thats it, then man, you gotta get out and do things. It's kind of half a life style. And try limiting the times you smoke. Like, instead of smoking bowls all day, smoke a joint in the morning. Then chill out you know, do what you do, jam on the guitar a little i dunno, then eat some food and then later, smoke again, maybe a joint, or a few if your with friends. This way your high is more enjoyable, stronger, that old high you miss and love is there, you just gotta find differnt ways of obtaining it. Environment bro... sorry, this was a stoned rant

I have been seeing mary jane for the past 4 years now. I was up to the point of smoking a quarter a day every day. Now that college is around I have had to cut way back, but I still smoke on a weekly basis. I have never gotten bored and can never see myself bein bored. I will be smokin till the day I die.
