DIY: Fly Filtering Pipe

Basically you cut long strips from the bottom of the aluminum steamer tray connect them together with a simple crimp then create the 'twist' to give it a maze then you drill 2 holes in the bottom half of the round container on either side an seperate pipe/stem from plastic tube with the can. The twist should allow a long air path to an from each hole and come close to hitting the top inside the lid. Totally removeable cleanable resin catching system in a can... less then 10 total in gas/time/ect and you've got some nice cool smoke.

On the flip side 2 bits of tubing some tape and about 6 coffee stirrers make for a filter on the cheap.

Same concept just seperated from the main pipe and 40 bucks cheaper to make.

Sorry no pics... just imagine a cheap aluminum pipe with acrylic middle attached to altoids tin (it's round with a pop off top) with a tube of some sort coming off the other side as a mouth piece.

It works just as good and cleans up much the same...original in any circle in any case. You can also use the tin as a huge bud resinator...

OHHH haha you were talking baout making a pipe. anyways yea last time i had an altoid citrus candy thing it made me think about htat pipe and i was wondering if it was possible to make a pipe from it. i knew i'd never do it but i'm glad to see someone did, hows it smoke?

Sweet.... I've only smoked partially vapped stuff in it because I'm down to less then a 1/4th without a quality dealer and a good while before my girls sag with uber trichome goodness, but I thought of it while figuring ways to make spent bud more potent. I filled the whole twisting system with spent bud and screened each hole with fine brass (these things are part of anyones diy smoking kit...which I'll post a bit later) and it's still resinating nicely...it's also pretty cool to open it up and see a maze of smoke drift off.

Also you can probably used a soda can, just with shorter strips or by 'peeling' the can as even as possible like an orange with the shears or razor then cutting the ends to make the angles work out flat in the tin...strips crimped from more then one can with probably 2 or 3 strips per can would work better as it's not taking much heat.
