Then we look down and there were 5 gourmet chocolates waiting for us LOL.

That's pretty profound shit right there. I'm gonna have to add to your rep for that one. Especially the part I bolded. I've been fooled by one side or the other many times. Until that is, I started really questioning the shit I heard on talk radio, or from the talking heads on the news. Incidentally, that was right about the time I started smoking herb.

Form your own opinions, and ideas. Just because some asshole has a radio show, or a book, or won an election doesn't mean what he is saying is right.

I didn't really mean to go all political, usually I just keep that shit to myself. Religion as well for that matter. But I have a feeling that most people here on GC probably feel much the same as I do.

i went to peru this summer and i was driving through the country side back to cuzco and we were pretty high in altitude. We got the driver to pull over and we stepped outside and i have never seen so many stars. the sky looked dusty and bright and vibrant. it was sooooooooo crazy.

i have considered this too.

if that were true there would be an infinite number of universes. however, an infinite number of universes would have to be created at every instant. it seems that if one reaction happened in one universe but not the other, it would change the outcome so sigificantly that the universe could not necessarily be parallel anymore (eg if i turn right but another universe goes straight or left, the two universes would be more or less independent, where the two never have a point where an instance will happen at the same point in time)

this means that every instant will have universes that branch out from it. and the infinite instances then go on to create an infinite more amount of instances.

i hope it makes sense @_@
