does the weather affect your high?

when i smoke the weather is a major factor when i smoke. when it is rainy and cloudy out i dont even want to smoke anymore. i always get depressed and think i am wasting my life but when it is a sunny day all of the colors are bright. it makes everything outside look better. after my high wears off i forget/block out the memories of my bad high expience somehow. i dont even try to and it just happens. DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELES?

ever since i got this cali chronic (good sativa) i havent felt the urge to smoke in like 4 days now. its a very uplifting high and it doesnt make you sleepy. it must be the stuff i need lol

sunny days with this makes me want to be outside all day and work

Re: does the weather affect your high?

This is simple.... on a sunny day a human is naturally happier as they are generally warmer, getting more Vitamin D from the rays... and being generally happier makes you more willing to go out and do productive things.

I absolutely know where you're coming from. I find I am very susceptible to my environment when I'm high. Yet I can't really block out the bad feeling I get when it's "icky" out like you can. You're one lucky dude!

Re: does the weather affect your high?

Good ol 72 degrees with sunlight and minimal clouds is how i like it. I don't discriminate though. I enjoy all weathers as long as I'm smoking in a non effected environment (ie indoors).

I can't stand smoking in the wind or in the rain, which is what I used to do a lot when I was younger and had to sneek out.

Re: does the weather affect your high?

I have to disagree here.

To me, some of the best highs come right after getting home from a dark and stormy night.

Nothing is better than getting home soaking wet from a horrific thunderstorm, changing into dry, warm, comfy clothing, and smoking a bowl right there on the couch. If you can still hear the rain and thunder outside it's even better. Sometimes, if it's really storming, or really cold, I might even just towel off and wrap myself in a blanket.

The same goes for bad snowstorms.

It's also best if you're soaking wet because you either just came home from work, or at the end of the evening, that way smoking completes the whole "The day is over, now I get to relax..." feeling.

Re: does the weather affect your high?

It's mainly temperature the weather is providing that affects me the greatest.

I feel the same way. Dark boring days are no fun which, for me, = no fun high. But thunderstorms are fun because you're playing in the rain and seeing cool clouds and/or lightning. I conclude with, it's fun smoking during a T-Storm

As long as I am not smoking out in the cold, it doesn't
effect my high.

Re: does the weather affect your high?

the rain is really calming. bright sunlight bothers my eyes.

when its cold outside i like to open my windows 1/4 in my car and put the heat to full blast to my legs. sometimes the hot and cold air mix and hit me in my face, its quite something else when youre high.

Re: does the weather affect your high?

I also hate bright sunlight. Rain makes me want to toke more because it's a neat experience high. The super cold sobers me up, unless it's accompanied by snow. Then it's just fun. Toking in the summer is nice but weed already makes my cheeks burn so that's no fun in the heat.

Re: does the weather affect your high?

it had no effect on me. I love to toke up on a beautiful sunny day, but i also love to toke up right before a thunderstorm and watch it. Thunderstorms are cool and i enjoy watching in awe... being high just helps me appreciate it more.

the power of mother nature is pretty inspiring.

If its just a lousy rainy day, then i still love to smoke. I just stay inside and watch a movie. sometimes if its really hard ill just stare out of the window for a bit, looking in awe. the sound of rain coming down is also soothing to me.

Fuck, i should have been a meteorologist.

Re: does the weather affect your high?

The only thing weather-wise that effects me is when its really really cold out. I always feel like I get more high when I smoke a joint outside.

I think its because when im outside smoking, all I can think about is how cold it is. Then I finish the joint and go inside and once I am warmed out, I remember how high I am and I just feel extra high... if that makes sense hahaha
