On the rare occasion of joints I use forceps and draw in through a glass tube, saves your lips from burning!

One guy I knew had an old TV annena w/ welded alligater clip on the end- lol made it easier to pass across the table.

Umm, instead of smoking my joint to the very end, which is harsh, nasty and often involves smoking cardboard... I just put a bit of tobacco at the end, right before the roach, and don't smoke it. No weed wasted and no lungs fucked.

I like the monster ass picture of forceps on the first page. I can put my joint on the computer and it almost seems like its gonna roach clip it from the pc.

I never use roach clips, I always just put a big ass filter in the end of my joint, which lets me smoke it down to the nub without burning my fingers.

Much easier than trying to suck a clipped roach, haha

We used to have the "telescopic roach clip".

Ie, a roach clip superglued to the end of a broken car antennae. It was the best invention ever for passing a joint around a room full of lazy stoners. (edited: oops, mssully beat me to it

)

I agree that medical forceps work best, but I have little fingers and generally don't need a roach clip.

This. The last time I rolled a joint I was so unsatisfied with it despite having rolled it well to my own surprise. It didn't canoe I could just taste the paper after being strictly glass for months. I gutted it immediately(about 5 puffs in) and stuck it a bowl.

We use the straw from the blunt wrap for blunt roaches if theres no tweezers,clips,etc.

For joints we use tweezers and such or throw it in a bowl.

Wow there are some great ideas in this thread- I haven't even thought about the bobby pins but thats perfect... now my girlfriend is going to start asking me why I always want to borrow a few. As for the telescopic roach clip... that is fucking genius. I'm definitely getting that going as soon as I can.

Also, I usually don't use a roach clip, but it is a fairly good addition. If I'm saving up for a generation j, I won't (I'll probably put the joint out earlier than I normally would anyways in this situation), and as for the throwing the roach in a bowl thats just standard operating procedure for me.. it all depends on how much long term planning I've done, and, frankly, since I'm a stoner not much long term planning ever gets done
