Who here uses roach clips?

i use medical forcepts when i do use one, which is raely because i almost never smoke joints.

i usually save my roachs and make a generation j or blunt but the times i dont, i usuallly either break up the roach into a bowl or i take a paper and roll it around so it is holding the end of the roach with one end and its free and clear to hold with the other hand(slight learning curve to figuring out how to use it efficiantly)

funny i found this thread, I just saw one for the first time, It sucks. Thats all I have to say. I tried it one time, couldnt get a hit. Took it off, held it and got a better hit

I'll burn it down to a half inch or so and put it out. I break them apart and throw the roach weed in a jar. Got a nice collection now but I don't really want to smoke it. That will probably change when I'm dry.

There isnt a need for roach clips.

People don't want to burn their hands, blah blah blah.

What you need to do is learn how to smoke the WHOLE joint, its easy, its just in practice and if your a joint-heavy smoker which I am but I kind 50/50 it with bowl.

Just hold firmly one side of the roach leaving as much exposed of the other side, make an "oh" with your lips, semi puckered, place roach in middle of general area, and pull as hard as you would if you were hitting a bowl, so much slower than when you were smoking the first part of the joint, and just take the heat, that shit is really temporary.

I know alot of that is common sense but some people cant hit roaches.

Here in my part of the west coast, we use roach clips sometimes (if they're available).

I don't find they're needed usually, I like holding tiny roaches in my fingers still.

I don't hit joints that often, but when I do I'm just fine without the clips. When it gets small I just make a air-tunnel effect with my mouth and suck around the joint, no contact being made with my mouth.

I was once gifted a roach clip by my aunt, who apparently didn't know what it was and took it for something else. I thought that I would use it, but found it to just be a hassle and not really worth it. If you hold the roach right, you won't burn yourself too often anyway.

I always just take the roach, split it open, and stick it in my bowl.

i love smokin joints but i have always just put a rolled up piece of paper on one side and use that as like a filter so u can smoke all the weed. also its impossible for noobs to nig-lip the joint this way too

I almost never smoke joints, and only even roll one up if I'm smoking with friends.

We never use a roach clip because it's kind of our "tradition" to pack the roach into the bowl of a bong and burn the whole thing that way.

It's also convenient because then the bong is already out for the next round.

where i live they have these papers u can buy that have a wire at the ends so u dont need to even think about looking for your roach clip they are the coolest papers i think.

I used to use 2 beer caps as a roach clip before. Now I just throw them in the bong for the last hit.
