Canadian quantity question

Hi,

I wrote "canadian" because I'm in Quebec and I know that this changes from one location to another. Maybe some guys from my place will answer to help and other will appreciated the info or post what is going on in their region.

Now, the question!

It's always the same question about how much you pay, but reversed...
How much you get, how much you really get...

What is the exact quantity you get for a certain amount of money?
Not everybody can answer :0 only those who ever used a scale to check hom much weed they get form their $.

Here in quebec we express ourselves this way:

A five : 5$ : supposed to be half of a gram
A ten : 10$ : supposed to be one gram
A 3.5 : 25-35$ : supposed to be 3 and a half grams..

Get it? but the real thing is, unless the dealer is a very good friend of yours,
you don't really get 0.5 gram for 5$. Some people around, told me you probably get 0.3 most of the time when you buy a five(5$). Is it true? 0.7-0.8 for 10$ instead of a real full gram...
How do dealer manage all that, that's my question, what real quantity do you obtain for a certain price.
A Street deal is surely different than having a friend who's selling

But I'm sure some of you understand my question and have an answer,

Hey mozilla, welcome to grasscity!

I think whereever you are you will always get less for your money if youre buying from a street dealer, the tend to to sell bags short of a little bud, because they know that most people arent going to complain.
You can usually trust friends to give you a nice amount, or even extra. I have a set of scales so i usually weigh out what i buy.

Not sure about canadian prices and amounts, but in London we get:

£5 = About 1g
£10 1.5g to 2g
£20 - £25 = 3.5g
£40 = 7g

And so on..

Buying larger quantities is also gonna save you loads of money, so i try and avoid buying small amounts.

Here in Ontario weed prices are as follows:

.5 grams = $5
1 gram = $10
3.5 grams = $30
7 grams = $60

I have a scale and never bought from people I didn't trust so I always got the amount I was supposed to. Alot of the times my sacks would weigh over too.

These are prices from vancouver. May not be what you were looking for, but it might give you an idea of what to expect.

.5g- $5
1g- $10
3.5g or 1/8th- $20-30
7g or 1/4- $40-45

Around here, in my neck of the woods, it runs me about $50 for an 8th of quality Cannabis.

Hahaha yes you do, a couple bros of mine deal, and I knew them since we were little and I get a flat price, no inflation, 100 to 110 depending on how much they bought at the time.

Ok mozilla, I'm in new brunswick, right below you, and we basiclly have the same prices.
$5-0.5 grams
$10-1.0 grams
$35- 3.5 grams
$180-220- 27 grams

Oh I'm sorry, I thoughy an ounce was 100 gr. We have the same word in dutch and it means 100 gr.
Well then it comes to about 3500 a kg? Am I correct?
Then it's much cheaper here, and I think the quality is much higher.

holy crap i'd be incredibly pissed if someone tried to sell me weed for that price. $100 for 27 grams of ok bud like orange bud to $180 for 27 grams of bud like hash plant.

i barterd with this buy who was selling the last bit of his stash that people said was some of the best weed they ever had and i got 2 .5 gram joints and 2.2grams of bud for $13.

He also had major munchies so i gave him the rest of my chips, it's gonna be a good night tonight.
