I called today to find out about the status of my application. They said the were waiting on the background check (nothing to worry about...I don't break any laws! Anyway, I asked if they had received the results, and she said yes, and everything was clear.

Since no one replied to my post, I went to a local head shop and bought some of "Dr. Green's Agent X Premixed Unisex Synthetic Urine with Heating Element and 3 OZ. Container" Ha! Quite the title, but I'm just posting this in case someone is looking for a viable (at least for me) alternative to Quick Fix (which they didn't have at the shop I went to) Also, on the bottom of the box there's a UPC barcode, and to the left of it it says "Formula 7.0" Now, I read some bad reviews about Agent X, but it seems that there's a premixed and a non-premixed version, and most of the problems seem to be by people using the non-premixed version, which means they might have not mixed things properly.

I also had a friend call the lab to find out if it was necessary to strip into a gown for the test. They said they only did that for court ordered tests (I don't know much about court ordered tests, so your guess is as good as mine) and that all I would have to do would be to empty my pockets. When I got to the lab, the lady had me fill in the form, show some ID and then asked me if I needed some water. I said I was ready, and she handed me the little cup, but before she told me not to flush the toilet nor wash my hands. They didn't ask me to empty my pockets, but I had stuffed the container in my undies (I used boxer briefs, BTW. Just seemed safer that way.) I went in, closed the door, pulled out the container, unscrewed it (I didn't use the top with the little spigot or whatever the hell its called) and dumped the mixture into the cup, just a little more from where the lady told me to fill it to. I peed in the toilet, came out and told the lady I was done, she took the cup, put a sticker on it, signed the form, told me to flush and wash my hands, and that was it. Pretty easy if you ask me.

BTW, when warming up the synthetic urine I warmed it up for 10 seconds the first time, which brought the temp to 98 degrees. I put in the microwave for another 5 seconds (15 seconds total) and the temp was higher than the 102 the strip can register. I put the little warming agent bag they include with the included rubber band, stuffed it down my underwear and away I went. Now, I'm only 3 miles from the lab. When I got to the lab, in the parking lot I checked the temp of the bottle, and it was 100 degrees. By the time I put the stuff in the cup, it was 98 degrees. The cup, when I gave it to the tech, was registering 94 degrees (I did put the cup on top of the toilet lid when I was peeing in the toilet) From my house to the lab, it took me about 10 minutes to get there, and then 2 minutes to go up to the lab from the parking lot. Once I got into the office, I was in the bathroom after about 4 minutes. That little pouch works pretty good, plus it was in my undies. Outdoor temps that day were about 75-77 or so.

Anyway, just wanted to relate a success story....And thanks to GC for making such information available (the search button is your friend!)

might be a dumb question but... whatever... I heard that if you smoke cigs it takes longer to clean out your system, you guys know if theres any truth to that?

I would like to get the dosage of niacin cleared up if possible please. What size pill (500 miligram?) how many a day, what time of day to take them, with food or with out. A surefire guide to it. I love smoking, and I don't want to have to quit what I love to do =P

From what I've read so far, it seems that niacin is an iffy at best kind of solution. Erowid's FAQ has a good entry about Niacin: http://www.erowid.org/ask/ask.php?ID=2358 The thing you should note, and it has been posted throughout the thread by other users, is that it can cause liver damage, if taking more than the daily recommended allowance. Still, if you want and try to dilute (which may cause them to retest you or not get a job, if that's what the DT is for) you may want to read the two posts by whos_gotherb311 on this thread: http://forum.grasscity.com/general/1...lp-please.html

If you read my previous two posts on this thread, you'll see that I decided to go with substitution, as it seemed the safest way for me to pass the DT (which I did, BTW) Anyway, a couple of users here have given advice on the amounts of Niacin to take, with IGotTheCottons coming to mind as the one with the most sound (he'll tell you not to drink bleach) advice. Then again, what works for him may not work for me because differences in our metabolic rates (he's active, I'm not) Read the entire thread or search for his posts. Not trying to tell you what to do, but the entire thread is very informational.

Ok so this is my first post here but what I have read has seemed quite helpful...My mom is DT'ing randomly (I'm 19 years old and she is a stoner herself but she set an "age limit" of 21 on me smoking so she still will be testing till I'm 21 which sucks) but I was wondering about the niacin method...I was wondering if I take niacin constantly while I still smoke and stop smoking when I think she will test me like a week before and start drinking a lot of water will I pass? Also what are the chances that if she surprises me and I'm smoking like 2-3 times a week and do the niacin thing constantly that I will pass 12-24 hours after I have last smoked?

Okay, once again, don't take my advice as good advice, but based on what I've read here and at the Erowid FAQ, if you constantly take Niacin, you could damage your liver. What's your metabolism like? If you are in fairly good shape, and your metabolism is active, you can probably dilute so that the test comes out inconclusive. Is she giving you one of those strip tests? Or is she sending you to a lab for the test? Kinda interesting that she's a stoner but wants you to be of "legal" age (i.e. an adult) to smoke it. There's no such thing as "legal" age to smoke weed, at least in the eyes of the Federal government. Depending on the state you live in, you can get anything from a ticket (California comes to mind) or some heavy duty fines and possibly time in jail. But I digress, and it's really none of my business. What I would recommend is to buy yourself one of the same test kits she'll be using, and try diluting by drinking water. Again, look at a couple of my posts back and find the link to a dilution guide posted by whos_gotherb311, as it is very informative.

Again, it may not be the best advice or my business, but messing up your liver just so that you can pass a test, so that you can continue smoking weed seems counterproductive to me. But that's just my opinion, and like elbows, just about everyone has one.

She is getting one of the tests that have a strip that goes down into a cup with the urine if that's what you mean my "a strip test" and I read that niacin was used as an energy booster so why would they sell it as that when it damages your kidneys?

Well, they sell cough syrup with DXM over the counter, but if you ingest a lot of DXM, you could die when your brain tells the lungs to stop breathing. They sell aspirin too, and if you take a shit load, you can cause yourself some serious damage, such as gastrointestinal bleeding. Just because something has it as an ingredient, it doesn't mean its good for you. If you notice that energy drinks that contain Niacin do so in small amounts. Overdoing anything (yes, even weed) can cause you problems in the long run. But do as you will, friend...it's your liver after all.

Ah...I was under the impression that since the bottle that the 500mg was sold in said that the dose was either 1 or 2 a day i forget that it would be fine to use daily in that dose...I looked into the substitution and that seems like the best bet tho because then I'm sure I will pass...and my mom is giving the test so she won't be watching me haha...

having a hard time getting a definate answer... I got 60 x 500mg capsules and was wondering. Say I had about two weeks, if I exercised and drank water + took niacin, would the niacin help speed the process of getting thc out since it raises(?) metabolism?

Either way my headshop sells a drink for like $40-50 that i'm gonna try out. No more weed and I bought niacin and started more water. I got roughly two weeks so i'm hoping something works... the water, niacin, the drink... keeping my fingers crossed.

today i plan on picking up a 500mg niacin bottle at gnc. im taking 2 a day with a light meal for each pill along with a lot of water. my question is, if im getting tested at home, do i have to worry about niacin showing up on the test? and if i dont have to worry about that, can i still take niacin the day before my test even though ive read countless times not too?

im getting tested this coming monday which is 5 days from now. can someone tell me if that is or isnt enough time? when i take the test on monday i will have been clean for 2 weeks.

There's this thing on the market which you can ingest and only took a few hours to work wonders. Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of this product, I'll look into it.

Exercise (sweating is essential), lot's of water, cramberry juice, and bribing the doctor all easily assist in getting the traces of thc the fuck out of there.

I heard that if you have someone who is clean piss into a little lotion bottle and carry it around, because i get random home test kits, that it will beat the hometests, can anyone verify if it will work.

no, you cant just carry around piss for a period of time - I think it expires after like 48 hours and you'll false-positive for a lot of other shit. If your only getting tested with a home kit, drink shit loads of water and take some niacin.
