Kief hash made simple!

I've made 'hash' every way imaginable. This method will make, as I said, a smokeable but low quality product.

x2. not the most efficient (since the water isn't really collecting the trichs/thc or even separating them from the vegatable matter), quickest or easiest method out there... but i guess it will work.

can anyone say if it would be better to just use isopropyl alcohol as the blending medium instead of water?

Then you can just strain the solution once, pour the liquid into a beaker on a hot plate and let the alcohol evaporate, and the kief crystals will be left in the beaker.

You'd be better off filtering the particles out of it and making hash oil. All the THC gets leeched out by the iso.

huh? just want to make sure I'm clear.. u mean the iso dissolves the thc, then when the iso evaporates the thc is left remaining...right?

THC and a few other things (other cannabinoids, some chloryphyll).

It IS actually cold water hash, seeing as its the exact same process just with a blender.
Just more inefficient, and alot more work than making ISO hash (about 2 minutes of actual work) or just compressing keif from a grinder with a warm knife between 2 layers of something.

This works, its just not the best.
So stop hating because theres better methods than this guy posts. I personally think my stems are better spent making QWISO.

cold water hash and bubble bucket hash are made using leaf clippings and vegetation, which contain significantly higher concentrations of thc than stems. ANd it takes a lot of clippings to get a decent amount of bubble hash.


problem with this method- all the trichs will fall the bottom of the blender (if you let it settle), but then when you pour the mixture (upside down obviously) throug the filters, the water has to pass right back through the material, which will re-soak up a lot of the thc.

I have done this method...when I was younger, it was my first attempt at hash. save up to a couple ounces of steed, and we had a little hash party.

it kinda worked, not overwhelmingly though.

my issue is not with the hash method, its with the "dr" telling people that stems have more cannabinoids than other parts of the plant, like leaves for example. and that seeds have just as much. He claims that we are losing 30-40% of the overall cannabinoid content if we dont use stems and seeds, and thats simply not the case. 10-15% seems much more reasonable, even though that is probably too generous.

I remember trying this method with dro bud before, and it didn't give me shit.

This method fails hard and is vastly inferior to any type of extraction involving a solvent. It may use carcinogenic chemicals but since most(all?) are volatile substances at room temperature they will evaporate. If you are still worried about having any left over chemicals, just put your hash oil on a razor blade and lightly heat it (5 sec on/off) until it melts and repeat a few times until its a dark sticky paste.
