No it's got nothing to do with Russian, it's a nickname i've had since highschool. It had something to do with the fact that i was always carrying a backpack, hard to explain u should have been there anyway to fully understand.

Next up: some no name dank.

Smell/taste: Didn't quite smell that strong out off the bag but when ground up it released a nice pungent smell. Quite different from the buds we get usually around here. It's hard to describe the taste, it was good that's sure. I would say a very slight grapefruit taste, it tasted quite sharp also. Not the kind off sharp u get from curing improperly though.
All in all i liked the taste very much. A nice variation on the generic bud taste we usually get around here, although i have to say i can't complain the last month and a half orso we got loads off nice tasting buds around here.

High: not much to say about the high, unlike the taste the high was pretty generic.

Next up: Hollandse glorie

Once again Hollandse glorie, this came from a coffeeshop in Roosendaal. I bought it right before newyear, the stuff was on sale to. A real bargain at 6€/gr.

Taste/smell: Very earthy musky smell, quite strong aroma too. The earthy smell immediatly shoots up u'r nostril upon opening the baggy. Needless to say that the taste was also very good, it reminded me a bit off this Crimea Bleu i once bought at Banrey's in Amsterdam.

High: very potent weed indeed, lightheaddedness sets in after a few tokes. This already turns to a quite strong couchlock/stoned feeling after 5 minutes orso. Very nice effect, ideal for during a movie or watching tv.


Pictures: the pictures aren't super, this because i only just had the camera at that time so i din't quite know how to use it best at the time. These were some off the first budshots taken with it.
Check the thrichomes, very potent weed!

You listed my favorites already! I especially love Chimay Grande Reserve. I even brew a passable ale of similar style (I'm a long time homebrewer AND homegrower). Duvel is great too; I love the way it sneaks up on you, much stronger than it looks or tastes. My wife likes some of the Lindeman's fruit Lambics; not many other beers she'll drink.

Nice quality pics!!! I've been thinking about a digital camera for years now. I purchased an expensive 35mm camera years ago and it has sat in my closet almost every day since. Looks like a good choice and it's now on my short list of considerations. Nice buds too.

So next up:

Some more off the buds i picked up in Roosendaal and first up is Bubblegum, it wasn't quite cheap at 8€/gr. but it was a good weed for the money nontheless.

Taste/smell: Not so strong smell out off the bag but definatly one off those weeds that give a strong oudor when ground up. I wouldn't say it smells or tastes like bubblegum but i do understand why they named it so. This particular batch had a nice smooth flavour wich had a nice fruity touch.

High: definatly one off those everything is funny highs. Pretty strong high too but the Hollandse Glorie was definatly more potent.



Next is this hash, i have to say i'm sorry but forgot what it was named. Anyhow it was Moroccan and had a Moroccan name.I wanted to buy some Nepal but they were out, the guy behind the counter told that was his favorite when i asked for something else that was excellent. Price was rather expensive at 10€/gr.

Taste/smell: it bubbled nicely when heated and gave off a fresh, even a tad bit fruity scent, wich i liked. Definatly the traits off a maroccan hash, i'm normally more of an Indian hash guy. I like it dark and heavy but i have to say i was pleasently surprised from the smooth fruity flavour. Though fruity in a whole other way than the bubblegum mentioned above, hard to explain.

High: it gave a nice and clear head high, u know when u can feel it behind u'r eyes. But when i rolled a really fat one off it i was very stoned, the feeling behind my eyes was now rather a blurred vision. Very nice effect, liked the hash. It's been at this point over a month ago and i haven't smoked any hash since, i'd like to have some again someday soon.



Next is Pepsi, it's a pretty popular strain in Rosendaal and i think it's something local cause i've only seen it There and in Bergen op Zoom wich is nearby. They always have it in Roosendaal and it's on the menu off all the shops and it's usually cheap at 6€/gr. Quality varies but in the manner that it's always decent quality especially for the price but every now and then there's a really good batch. This particular batch was very decent but not excellent.

Taste/smell: the usual Pepsi smell and the same taste, being basically a generic weed taste but always with a hint off lemon stronger or weaker now and then depending on the batch. I'd call this one above average.

High: pretty generic high, nothing special here just nice and eazy, relaxed stoned but not so strong that it's a couchlock.

Well it's like this, there are 2 Shops were u were able to buy quite large quantities, in all the other shops there is a 5gr. limit. Basically all shops are only allowed to sell 5gr. per customer but in these two u could easely get more if there weren't many people in the shops. However since recently the authorities in Rosendaal have been doing regular checkups so the shops are more carefully now and they don't allow more than 5gr. any more. The authorities even want to bring it down to 3gr. like they did in Terneuzen.

Anyhow if u bought for like 50€ pepsi u would have gotn about 10gr. What they do still do is if u buy like 5gr pepsi u would always get a little more like 5.6gr. orso and if u buy more expensive weed u get some leaves and a lighter or some filter tips.
