I agree that you can't live of this. It is a short term thing, designed for a complete flush of your digestive system. It's NOT suggested for nutrition.

Ordinarily, of course this drink does not have everything you need to survive. For overall general health, yes, Green drinks are king.

I am not sure, I assume its mostly the high amount of acids that really clean your system. So probably yes it does.

Its the shitting a lot that cleans out your system. The acid and liquid just loosens up all the crap thats in your digestive tract.

sorry OP but I dont mean to be rude but your advice is not good at all - if you want to detox by removing toxins from your bloodstream and by removing fecal matter from the duodenum then the best way is with a no meat, low(ish) carb diet with PLENTY of water and a trip to the clinic for colonic irrigation

eating nothing and drinking lemonade for a week is the worst dietary advice I have ever heard of

not only that but any unaware diabetics would keel over after about a day and go into shock

dont take this personally but you shouldnt be posting up this sort of misinformation

oh, and if your doctor seriously recommends this to his patients then he needs to be struck off

I'd like to add that my parents do this once a year for 3-5 days because they fast for religion. Its NOT a diet; it's fasting.
