SOLDERING IRON: Never use a soldering Iron that has a metal heating element. Use a ceramic element soldering iron such as the Hakko 454. Please do some further research on Hakko ceramic soldering iron, the differnce is that it uses a ceramic rod wich i believe has to toxic or negative health risks. Unlike most other soldering irons that use a steel or other metal alloy heating rod that causes many severe health issues, not too mention it taste like metal. A Hakko 454-456 series has a removable metal tip and shaft wich gives you direct access to the ceramic heat rod. These can be purchased at www.hakkousa.com Heres another thread about the hakko http://forum.grasscity.com/recreatio...ss-smoking.htm HOT KNIVES: Again, don't use any metal. Metal gives off some toxic fumes wich cause a whole range of seriouse health problems. Please look around your local head shops for glass hot knive sticks. They are made out of pyrex I belive and are very good for heating up and letting cool without concern of shattering. Perfect for hot knives ( there made specifically for it) and you can really taste the weed not the metal. I recomend using glass for everything, even a glass stir stick for your bowl instead of that old bobby pin. |

Most connoisseurs will have a large amount of marijuana that if handled with dirty hands, could spread throuought there stash and end up producing mold. Also finger oils are bad because they too will reduce the potency of your bud. | |
