and i've REALLY gotta disagree. i've known a lot of people who've come and gone at different parts of my life, some who smoke, some who don't, and smoke who've started in recent memory.


For the most part, I like all of the people who smoke, i would say that because they smoke and WHEN they smoke they are "cooler" than they are/were otherwise.


Don't read this as my thoughts on "I smoke, therefore I'm cool" its more of a personality shift that often comes with the territory.

I remember this kid in school that I didn't like too much, he was just annoying, and he cried in front of all of us when his gf dumped him.. he was just a pain in the ass.. So he started smoking weed.. and I tell you, this kid got way fun to hang out with. He became a really well rounded person, and a better person, in my opinion.

Great thread, a lot of those phases are familiar to me, at the moment i'm going through the 'cutting down' phase, trying not to smoke until thursday basically.

Does make you think that everythings generally the same all around the world, just with different habits and traits.
