Manali Cream Hash, Skunk No.1, Moroccan slate & Bahamian ganja

Hi, I've had some nice pickups recently, and wanted to share them with some other smokers.

1. Manali Cream - Most Europeans will go weak at the knees when they see this - it comes from a famed area for traditional Charas production in the Himalayas. The hash is hand rubbed into sticky resin and left unpressed, resulting in an extremely sticky dark hash which is fantastically pure.



Pictured above to demonstrate consistency; Below is a photo of 34 grams of the hash, wrapped individually in 5g wraps to preserve freshness.



2. Moroccan Slate - Standard import hash; nothing exciting - £75 on the ounce and a decent smoke. 1.25g pictured.



3. Skunk No.1 - The original strain. Very potent and a smooth smoke. Cured for three months and well worth the wait!



These two buds weigh 3.8 grams alone!



4. Bahamian green. Went to the Bahamas recently; for the most part the 'tourist grade' draw leaves a lot to be desired. I met someone who I'd known for ages and he linked me. As always, the dealers start with standard grade and work upwards. The first pickup is shown below, very seedy, green, but a lovely herb smell - tastes like Ganja should! Makes a change from strong skunk, the advantage being that it could be smoked ad infinitum or until you passed out. Just under a half ounce pictured - those two spliffs look deceivingly small!



This is what I was getting after a few more exchanges. As you can see the quality of the buds is far higher, no seeds at all. It basically worked out at 70 USD for a decent part of an entire plant - the leaves are removed and the buds are manicured all along the stem. This is the stickiest green I've ever smoked, you could put a bud on your forehead and it would stay there quite happily. It was a fantastically strong smoke, but in a different way to skunk; it gives you the worst red eye and you feel nicely buzzed for a few hours.

The Moroccan hash smokes as you would expect - not too strong, but a pleasant, smooth smoke and a nice, light taste.
On the other hand, the Manali is STRONG as hell - stronger than the skunk (which is instant couchlock/munchies strong) - it seems to be much more direct and uplifting, like good sativa, followed by a heavy stone. The smoke is a very strange colour; it's white, but with a tinge of blue; this is an indication of good quality hash. More importantly, the texture of the hash before heating it is very smooth and the ash is incredibly fine.

I have a few more photos of various types of hash;

Four grams of Afghani "Gold Seal" hash - I suspect this particular batch was border hash, the quality and consistency were not as high as other "Gold Seal" Afghan hashes I get.



A bit of a gratuitous shot - I was playing around with camera settings to get the reflection to be prominent & in focus.

I am truly jealous of your hash, I'm familiar with both those strains and they are well worth the trouble. I pay more than double that unfortunately on the other side of the ocean.

Luckily though, North America gets fantastic domestic hash products like bubble hash, budder and honey oil. Also, there is a Domestic Afghan i've been meaning to try..

It seems to me that North America gets, on the whole, a wider selection of higher quality weed; by that I mean herbal cannabis/buds. There also seems to be more honey oil, budder and high quality extracts. I'd love to try some of the various weed that has been posted up on the forums - the manicuring, curing and care taken over the buds appears to be excellent!
